Don't know what makes this an "Urban Edition", but this is the latest base model, non-GPS Bip.

I'm an Apple Watch user but very interested in this as I've never heard of it before and quite impressed with what I've read about on this post. With that said, is this compatible with iPhones? I mainly use my Apple Watch for phone, message notifications as well as emails and camera security alerts at home. My house is also pretty smart (lights, thermostats, garage, etc.) and I use my watch from time to time to control things. Can I achieve all of this on an Amazfit watch?

Isn't there a monthly fee for these in order to access all the features?

My wife just wants to track how she is sleeping and I would like her to track her resting HR as well. But I am cheap bastard and don't want to pony up for. FitBit and their ripoff monthly service.
Will this do the job for her?

I'll do it for free….Tell her she's sleeping to much and your truck needs an oil change.

I've owned 2 Amazfit watches, an apple watch, and a galaxy active. My Amazfit GTS2 mini is by far my favorite. Look up some reviews on YouTube.

Definitely copyright issues on this on. Also, Amazon could have a case on this as its supposed to trick people into thinking its Amazon.
Also Apple should sue the makers of this scam watch out of existence.

It's a $60 dollar smart watch not a knock off of a $250 one. You know apple didn't invent the smart watch either. Remind me how the $60 apple watch compares. oh they dont have one
So you're poor. That's no excuse.

Cant speak for the Bip 3 but back then I bought a Bip 1 and it did everything for me and even lasted 30-45 days depending on the settings. I had sleep monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, notifications, vibrate alarms, i would use the stop watch and even track my runs and it showed up on a map with my pace, heartrate and everything to the point that I didn't even wanna go back to a smart watch.

Fast forward after getting a Galaxy Watch for cheap then upgrading to the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, its still the same from when I first got my LG Urbane 2, can do most of what your phone can do but at that 2-3 day battery. So when I go to a field exercise I take my Bip 1 with me and it lasts me without recharging. I also went to NTC once which is pretty much a month long at the field and it lasted on one charge.

Bip 2 and 3 I see they became more "smart" I guess and the display doesn't have the old ink so I can see where the battery life goes down. I wish they remade the Bip 1 with the ink display as that was always on and still get 30-45 days! Try that with any smartwatch lol.
I'm still rockin the OG Bip and wanted to upgrade for O2 sensor, but you're right about that amazing battery life. I think I'll stick to what I already have.

Highly doubtful. Not a big, but one of the few amazfits I set up was on an in laws late model iPhone.
we could not ever get calls and msgs to get to the watch. Previous android phones never had a problem.

I don't own one of these I was simply making a comment. Most apple fanboys try to compare the top of the line apple products like the iphone with some cheap version of the product like an android bottom of the line phone to make their comparison instead of doing a comparison to a product of equal value like the flagship Samsung or Pixel.

Sure pay Apple to keep telling your your special and better than everyone else.

I've been using a knockoff fitness watch I got on Amazon a few years ago for $30, and while it's ok, it's clearly no match for an Apple, Garmin or Samsung. The main thing I've learned using it is that the app is everything. It uses a proprietary one so I'm stuck with it. It does the basics but not much more. How's the app for this thing, and can it be used with mainstream fitness apps like Strava or is also proprietary? And which is the closest Amazon version of this?

I think a cheap Amazfit like this would do it, if it states it does HR. I have a cheap Amazfit bip that is 4-5 years old. Does what it says. Probably not as accurate as better brands that cost more, but does everything I need plus 20-30 days on a charge.
