It looks kinda ugly but If it feels good I might go for it
As long as you can stand sitting for is the answer. However, it's not about if the chair can handle it, it's whether your extended seat session is healthy for you or not.
Otherwise mesh bottoms are pretty good with comfort and this is one of the best rated budget range chairs that contends with the high level ones.

This chair has been awesome as my daily driver. No major issues. Supportive and comfortable for all day use. The arm rests started to crack about a year ago (not unsuable, but slowly getting worse). I called the manufacturer and they shipped me new/replacement arms at no cost. They told me it's a 7 year warranty on the chair.
When my current chair wears out, I'll 100% be replacing it again with this one.
