For the 12 cologne samples, the price seems reasonable. Nothing particularly high-end included though, but it has some popular stuff. That being said, you can buy the 16 sample cologne "Discovery Set" for the sample price:

The 12 cologne set includes candles too, but who the heck wants freaking candles? They just included those because the "for her" version includes them, and they couldn't think of anything better. Frankly I think they're just there to add weight, so when people pick it up in-store it feels like it has more value.

The 16 set includes YSL's "Y", Eros, and Spice Bomb Night Vision, and the 12 set includes Explorer, and Luna Rossa. Both include Invictus, HB's Boss, and RL's Ralpha's Club. Both contain a lot of so-so colognes.

I've pointed this out on here a few times, but Macy's and SD are in bed together around the holidays, so they'll keep "promoting" bullshit "deals" like this and get the uninformed to keep paying for crap that used to be given away for free.
