Seems like this is even cheaper than the previous FP deal for the Razer Viper w/ Charging Dock ($75).

Basilisk has more programmable buttons and is slightly bigger than the Viper.

According to Rtings:

"The Razer Viper Ultimate and the Razer Basilisk Ultimate are similar gaming mice. They're the same mouse internally but have a different shape and design. The Basilisk Ultimate is a right-handed mouse with a thumb rest and has an additional sniper button on the left side. While the Viper Ultimate isn't recommended with all grip types for larger hands, the Basilisk Ultimate can be used comfortably with all grip types with anyone except those with very small hands."

I got this a year or two ago, and I love it, my fav (I also have viper ultimate, logitech G900, and several others of that caliber), this mouse for me is the perfect mix of number of buttons, weight, shape, etc. (different for everyone of course). I wouldn't compare to G Pro since that mouse has more focus on being lighter weight at the expense of additional buttons.

Bought this last time, great mouse for the price. Tracking is on par with Logitech Hero. RGB is much brighter than Logitech. It's a very light mouse as well compared to g502. I do miss the flick-scrolling that Logitech offers. Outside of that, I definitely appreciate the savings over a comparable wireless g502.

Bought mine last year. Also love it. I had been a logitech guy for years......so glad I switched.

Only two negatives...that clutch button is really hard to reach. Why couldn't razer make it a cm or 2 longer.

And the scroll wheel is atrocious. Misses scrolls then does a double scroll sometimes. Terrible. But even with all that love the mouse.

I just recently retired a logitech g500s due to random disconnects and a high-pitched whine. It got replaced with the wired version of this mouse (Basilisk v3). If you are currently using an "ergonomic" logitech gaming mouse, you should feel right at home with the size and shape of this model.

I have a Basilisk v2 Wired, and the Basilisk design is perfect for right-handed mouse users.

I like it even better than the Logitech G502 Hero.

Just got the Basilisk two weeks ago, and I love it! Came from a wired Razer Deathadder. I thought I might not like the Basilisk design, but I've found it entirely comfortable. Others don't like the scroll wheel, but I haven't experienced any problems with it at all. I significantly decreased the resistance of the scroll wheel, so maybe that helped, but no problems with that. A full battery is lasting me around a week right now. It charges just by plugging in the micro-USB cable that came with it (if you don't have the dock). I actually didn't want the dock, since I don't want another bulky thing sitting on my desk. Overall, really happy with this mouse!
