At my local Home Depot today they had a stack of these 4 tool kits priced at $159. The stack also had a printed sign that said "This kit comes with one free tool, ask an associate for details". I thought, there's no way this comes with one of the free brushless tools. Well it rang up with a free $139 jigsaw. I returned the Jigsaw and ended up with this 4 tool kit for $84.84. YMMV.

Edit: this was at the Imperial Marketplace? #1032 store in San Diego. Uploaded a photo of my receipts in the comments.

OP's price is $159 too. He got a "free" jigsaw with it, then returned the jigsaw. The total price in the end for him is $85. What we are trying to figure out is if the free jigsaw offer is valid at other home depot locations.

Not sure if you know this already, but you can search for "brad nailer" on the slickdeals site and it will bring up all such deals that have been posted. You can also add an alert where you see "Didn't find what you were looking for? Add Alert For "brad nailer"" on the search results page. Two caveats: 1. Sometimes the alerts show up in your email several hours after they are posted and sometimes OOS by the time you get the alert, and 2., of course, not every deal out there is posted. But since your search parameters are quite specific, you could just search those two store sites and leave the tabs open to refresh from time to time if you don't see anything pop up on SD. Good luck!

This sounds exactly like a hack that worked in store. So the question is whether or not the jigsaw shows up as an itemized product on the receipt to make it eligible for return with no strings attached
