it seem that there is an issue administering it when the AP is connected to the internet
"IMPORTANT: When the WAC124 is connected to the Internet, you must use your
NETGEAR account email address and password to log in. Only if the WAC124
is not connected to the Internet can you use the admin user name and the local
login password (by default, password) that you specified when you used the
Smart Setup Wizard."

well, it depends.
If you would want to check or change your wifi password for example, you would need to get to the interface.
And I loath netgear to be snooping in my settings.
Also, what exactly connected to the internet mean? Should I disconnect the AP, and haul to the PC, just to access the settings?
