Also remember that their gift cards are NOT cash. Only certain merchants. I did a rebate with them in January and chose the Amazon gift card which for me was as good as cash, but other folks may have a different idea of what is valuable.

$20 a month on Google Fi is with zero data, once you start using data it easily becomes $30, then $40, then $50 etc

I was talking about 1 line which is $50 for simply unlimited or $20 plus $10 a gig for flexible , but yeah your right about 4 lines

I ordered a Ting sim for $1 and will activate it on the cheapest plan for a new number just to port for the promo when the sim arrives tomorrow. I heard that should work, ting is on the list of eligible carriers. My cure prepaid carrier is not.

Visible customer service is mediocre but it can get horrible pretty fast. There is no way of getting in touch with them other than chat which has a wait of 40+ people all the time. Their customer service is bad because people will get tired after dealing with them. I had ordered a device which had been signed and received by someone according to FedEx. Contacted visible and informed them that I have not received the package. Long story short they told me to file a police complaint. Turns out Fedex never delivered the phone, it was in its way back to visible. They just refused to give me a refund. Had to get it through my credit card. Network is not bad. Their automated system can flag you for no reason, permanently close your account and refuse to give you port out details for your number. I would suggest using a burner number

I can attest to this situation. Have a phone that was return to sender. After that they said they will issue a refund within few days. Next chat was will issue refund within a week. After that next chat was another week. After that next chat was it will be refunded within 30 days of receiving return item. Still nothing. I had to file a complaint with credit card to get money back.

I don't have much problem with them usually, I have been buying phones from them for years. But when things go bad it gets really bad. There is no recourse to deal with them when things go south except to file complaints with you own credit card and hoping they can get your money back.
Make sure you keep a record of everything.

Also I have been flagged by them. Not sure what is the reason but all orders will look successful but they won't ever ship the items (phone or sim card). But they do charge for the item. You have to ask for them to do a manual refund. They also won't tell you why the item won't ship.

Can I port in my personal #, use my Pixel 7 Pro w/ the 3 month service. all the while adding in a 2nd line which actually would use the iphone. its just sim cards I can move between devices right?

I like my phone, but my family coincidentally needs a new phone and new #.

Currently on an SE 2020 which works better than 12 mini for me as I've hoarded a couple Apple smart batteries for the 6/6s.

Missed the $300 deal for the SE 2022, the last small iPhone without forced face unlock.

Will pass on this and wait for eventual 13 mini, the last small iPhone.

After that, if the next SE is the 11, I think I might pull a Phil Schiller and quietly hop off the platform.

I never got iPhone XS promotion gift card and free speaker. Will not buy any more phone from. For now still using their $25 service. Will transfer when other companies offer something nice.
