As a counter to the positives - I got this one a recent deal, and am disappointed in it. I wasn't looking for a super close shave, but for me at least it never gets much closer than the 5 o'clock shadow level - it works ok, but it is not worth it imo
A OneBlade trimmer is the best one I've used in decades. Very easy to use and the blades easily last 4 months each.
I get razor burn with safety razors. This doesn't get quite as close, but it also doesn't leave red bumps on my skin. I use it wet in the shower without any trouble.

BestBuy has pro version for $39 currently, so does Amazon.
I just ordered the pro version to give that a try. Been using the regular one for years and absolutely love it. However, it just up and died on me recently. I like that the Pro version has a lithium ion battery so it'll stay charged longer, has a shorter re-charge time, and has a battery level to show you how much charge is left. I'm also interested in trying the grooming accessory that comes with the pro. For $39 it seems like a reasonable upgrade price if you'd like to try the Pro.

It takes a little too much off my beard even even with the longest attachment. This would be for someone who wants the "scruffy" look. Stubble beards. I find a better tool for me is a standard clipper or trimmer set. I can do the same things as this, and more.

I end up using this as a travel tool, trim up my neck line.

i need something to line up the hair on the back of my neck between haircuts and also lining up my beard on the neck. i don't have a very thick beard but my neck will get irritated after lining up my beard. will this work well? i have tried cheaper wahl clippers and trimmers and it just doesn't get close enough.

I've had mine for a few months and haven't had to replace the blades yet. It's not as close of a shave, which works for me. I'm prone to nicks and bumps, but this doesn't irritate my skin. I also use the grooming blade for the twigs and berries. 10/10 would recommend

I have the pro version and it is great. Have replaced the blade once. It holds a charge for weeks.

A great shaver. Goes through the longest thickest beards like butter and is nearly as close as the Arc V or Series 9 Pro. The biggest downside is the mess and realizing this was a waste of $$ because it impressed you so much that you immediately upgrade to the fancier model with adjustable length and charging stand.

I let my facial hair grow out during the week. It grows pretty fast, and it's too long for a regular electric razor at that point. I prefer this device instead of a traditional trimmer to take the length down.

I spent the extra $10 for the better battery and more heads version...

Blades last forever. I really just want new attachments. Those are the ones that break for me. I've had mine for 4 years now and I love it.

Blades needs to be replaced after 3-4 months, depending up on use.
