I bought them and they're awful. Don't hold their charge anywhere I've ever used them and the ones that came in the package aren't charged
Don't do it! That's exactly what I did and I have to change batteries every few days. They're awful!
I bought some about a month ago and they are terrible. They don't hold charge for more than a week or so, and are also physically larger than normal AA batteries. Sent them back and sticking with Panasonic eneloop from now on.

These amazon rechargeable are awful. I got an 8 pack a while pack, and they're all dead now. Half of them didn't even last more than 3 charge cycles. Meanwhile nearly all of my eneloops and Duracells from 5-10 years ago are still working great. Do not buy these

Even for very low power devices like TV remotes or keyboards?
Rechargeable batteries like these are best for devices that draw high power over a short-ish duration. Traditional alkaline batteries are better suited for remotes and low power draw devices. These are great batteries when paired with the correct use case.

Rechargeable batteries are like sock for me. They seem to disappear into the void without a trace. I buy rechargeable batteries and then they're gone.
That's why I have 50 of them

Basics rechargeables used to be Japan made like Eneloops and LADDA's, they are now china made and are pretty bad. Typical Amazon bait and switch. It was 2019 the last I got Japan made ones, since then they've been these white China ones.

Since these batteries became Japanese made, the quality is worse and worse ๐Ÿ˜ญ

These batteries are total garbage. they are ok for extremely low power applications, but even then they drain super fast.

I should have listened to everybody. These are literally unuseable.

I put 4 charged AA in my digital doorlock. It should last for 6+ months as my amazon basics alkaline batteries do.

These rechargeables lasted 3 days...

Amazon Basics used to have some lines made in JAPAN, but lately, they're all made in CHINA, it seems.

Chinese made battery cells are pretty garbage. I've bought a bunch of Amazon and EBL batteries, and they are crapping out only after a year or two. some won't hold voltage, some won't charge, some just loses capacity inside a device rapidly. Had to buy a specialty charger with readouts to see what's going on, I do not recommend them even if they're cheaper.

Look for JAPAN-made rechargeable batteries. Eneloop is the golden standard, you won't be disappointed with those. My 4-5 year old eneloops are still functioning perfectly fine. There are many rebranded eneloops out there, do some research and find the JAPAN made batteries.
