Good and Bad
First one I got didn't work and was sent a replacement. I finally got that one to work after going through the setup process no less than 10 times (I have 3 other wyze cams so I'm familiar).
Camera quality is good, and the socket keeps me from having to wire into my rental. I'd really appreciate the unit more if it didn't go offline every couple days and I have to do a hard power reset. It's fine when I'm home, but when I go away that is a problem. Which is the reason I'm not signing up for Cam Plus. Why would I pay for a service that is useless when the camera decides to go offline.

I literally just bought the lamp sockets two days ago for about $16.99 each shipped from Amazon. If I were to do it now, I think it's cheaper to buy the two-pack of v3 cameras that are still on the front page as of right now, and then buy these sockets separately for $11 each.

The Home Depot deal is $35 for two cameras which saves you $25 (instead of $60 for two). That does seem like a great price: https://slickdeals.net/f/16278673-cam-v3-wired-home-security-camera-with-3-months-cam-plus-included-2-pack-34-99-at-home-depot-ymmv
This "deal" saves you $1 (2.4%) which doesn't seem worth noting.
