I'm probably Costco's #1 fan and have taken advantage of a number of their services with great feedback. But the Next program is one that I have never found a deal on, despite looking through the vendor sites extensively. They used to have a couple of fishing equipment makers listed and nothing they had was ever a deal compared to the likes of Amazon and Dicks.
I've found that prices are sometimes cheaper via next than what's in Costco. Jack George's is often cheaper.
There are some good deals.. got flooring done with 15-20% cash back in Costco shop card. For a $30k project, it's $4.5-5k back. The prices were in line with others since the contractor has access to wholesale prices so it wasn't you pay higher upfront and get this discount.

Also you may not be able to use vendor coupons on the costco next prices, that's at least the case with nomatic. the vendor discounts often close to or better than costco next prices, so no real benefit
How much off are the Nomatic coupons? Travel Bag 40L was $149.99 when Costco Next one day sale featured Nomatic...

currently the 40L bag is 40% off so $202, costco next is $199, but if you use a discount code like NOMATIC15 or whatever it is now, it only applies to their regular site, not costconext

my parents' experience with both flooring and hvac through costco was they inflated the price about the equivalent of the cash back compared to well reviewed local installers. So you're paying 15% more and getting that 15% back in costco shop cards. Could work out better paying with the costco executive and visa for 4% back if you spend >$5000 a year at costco.

Basically my point, the additional 25% off Costco Next Nomatic price for 12 days of deals was pretty good.

Looks like they're a grade above typical retail lighting, but are they worth the extra cost?
If you check Mikasa housewares, their website prices are high. But Costco Next has some good prices.

You are correct. The additional discount in 12days of deals is only for a few vendors on CostcoNext. Not for all the ones listed in the main post.
