Seems to be a few differences at quick glance such as bigger wheels, bigger medium box, and mount to wall with link option. Open bin on top may be a pro or con depending on need
edit: carrying handles on big and medium box look handy too
The whole idea behind buying Ryobi tools is that they cost a lot less than big name brands but you still great bang for the buck.
However Ryobi tool boxes cost just as much but they're not as good as the Ridgid boxes, IMO.
I would even consider the Lowes' options of Kobalt or Craftsman TradeStack over the Ryobi as far as quality goes.
Definitely do your homework first by watching some YT comparison videos and looking at them in person.
Milwaukee is great but it's a Lot more $.
btw- I own probably 20 different Ryobi tools, so I'm not hating on the brand.

They have a 2-drawer box for $40, too. I've got to have drawers for my most used stuff, to avoid unstacking and restacking needlessly. The lack of drawers has kept me away from some of these system. Last time I was in HD I saw a new 2-drawer box from either Milwaukee or Dewalt and thought it was nice.
The T-stack system from Dewalt has a couple different drawer options. No idea if they still make T-Stack, and it doesn't work with their other boxes, but Amazon has some still. I don't normally need to haul a ton of tools around though, so keeping everything in the garage in a rolling cabinet and just throwing whatever I need to take with me into an open-top caddy works alright usually. But I might get the itch and splurge on one of these systems soon.

Yeah, I followed your link and saw it there. It's available locally, and to ship. Also, if you scroll down, the stack you pointed to is available for $10 less from a different seller, and is available to ship. I have no idea if third party Walmart sellers are to be trusted, but $79 ain't bad. I'm waiting until after Christmas before I buy myself anything though, because you never know what Santa may bring.

Hold off on third party sellers … I'm in the process of finding out … I ordered an un-badged system for $71 and got a delivery notification that it was put in my mailbox …. Wally CSRs are working on it.
I'm glad I didn't point any Slick Deal Friends to that deal. Will follow up.
I paid about $100 for the Rigid last year. I don't use it regularly, but it seems to be decent quality and fairly rugged. It just sits in the garage holding less commonly used items for me.
I have been using rigid cases for at least 5 years at work and they have held up admirably. My drill case is the single case with 3 buns on each side. It has 2 drills (Milwaukee M18 drill/driver, m12 1/4 impact with batteries), m12 vibration multi-tool with battery, extra M18 battery, tape measure, 2 extra m12 batteries, a multi-bit screw driver, rapid charger for batteries, Milwaukee drill bit case that goes to 3/8, greenlee speed tap case, 12" extensions, long drill bits. I removed one divider and 3 buns for that to fit plus cut off 2/3 the inner cover. I left the other divider and 1 bin. The bin is full of drill bits and driver bits, then the other part is almost all loose bits and a few other tools. Weighs 60+ pounds at least. I'm not very gentle with it either.

Ryobi has announced a 2 drawer and 3 drawer addition to theirs as well which should be released early 2023

Hi xxxxx,
Sorry things didn't work out. We've initiated a refund and wanted to provide a quick overview for you. If you have any follow-up questions,
Subtotal $71.20
Taxes $5.87
Refund total $77.07
Edit…. after that excitement and time to think…. I'm just gonna stay with the pair I got from this deal:
I was under the impression link was being discontinued. I passed on some deals because of that. Dang.
Nope, not at all. People thought that because they were always on and end cap with yellow tags, but Home Depot uses those tags also to indicate items that don't have a "home". They have a bunch of stuff planned for the system.
The ridgid system is $150 as well; doesn't have the crate, but a small parts organizer instead.
However, it looks like the ridgid cart detaches… might be a cool feature for storage.
I started looking for a set last night to help organize for vendor fairs… will have to compare the two in store to see which would work best. Thanks, OP
I have the Ridgid, if you can't make it to the store make sure to check the dimensions. I almost went with the Husky set because it was so cheap but it's actually way smaller than the other systems.

So helpful! This is perect and a lot cheaper. thank you!
I was just looking at the Hart in Walmart today. It's IS Cheaper and not in a good way. The quality is garbage. The tool box material is like one step up above a Rubbermaid container, very thin soft plastic. The wheels are like something you'd find on toy. Don't buy it blindly, go compare them in person.
The boxes from Ridgid and Dewalt are night and day better.
The Ryobi Link stuff is made in America, so that's why it is priced higher than normal when it comes to Ryobi stuff.
So, yes, you can get the Hart stuff cheaper as that's made in China, and even the Ridgid stuff for the same price which is also made in China.
I'm not sure how much being made in America means to everyone, but with the cost of labor in America, you're going to see higher prices.
Also, tons of info on the Link stuff over at the Ryobi Rebels Facebook page.
The Ridgid 1.0 stuff was made in Israel by Keter, a well-regarded hard plastics company. I'm assuming the newly released 2.0 is as well since they look like they came out of the same factory as 1.0.
What's the difference between that link and this link Stack System, Mobile Tool Box for Storage and Organization, Fits 7 Parts Modular Storage System And Suits HART Power Tools https://www.walmart.com/ip/2264114961 price is lower from what I can see...on the toolbox I don't know what's the difference
