Great deal. I got a similar set from Amazon. They have a really strong rubber, chemical smell when you first open the box. I had to leave it in the garage for a couple of weeks until the smell wore away.

Man, this is a great deal. I want these, but I don't really need them because I don't do any crossfit, so my iron weights are just fine. Even my deadlifts are slow and controlled, and I have pads on the ground. Plus I'm weak, so not really lifting that much. But my work has a crossfit gym, and I really love the bumper weights. I should just start going back to the office.

Depends on your level of needs. Honestly the TruGrit bearing bar or the Lu Xiao Xun everyday bar are the best you're going to get under $200 - even for experienced lifters. If you're just getting into lifting and don't plan to drop your barbell from the overhead position, just about any bar will be fine.

Disagree. Doing CrossFit with any type of bumper and a barbell (short of the crappy ones on the Dick's 300lb bundle) is going to be just fine. Nothing explodes, bends or pokes an eye out at something as little as 160lbs. You're overestimating the risk by a large margin. It'll be fine for the majority of athletes who are just getting into it.
