I own the Ember v1 travel mug and now it doesn't even hold a charge. It now only works while sitting on the charging coaster. Warranty is only 1-year and this occurred after 2 years. I liked the idea because I am a slow coffee drinker, but execution and durability are terrible. Even when it was holding a charge, the battery didn't last long. It is now out of warranty and Ember will replace my travel mug at a cost… At this price, the warranty period should be much longer.

Site is working fine here so I wouldn't be so quick to blame Best Buy. Many factors play a role and if it were BB then everyone would be experiencing what you are. Not being able to checkout might simply be an inventory issue. I was able to add to cart for 1 hour pickup and checkout in less than 10 seconds.

Since we're comparing apples to oranges now: so is a the free ceramic mug I got from a trade show and a microwave.

Still gonna buy myself an Ember. Thanks op!

Just came here to post this same thing. We've been wanting to get my mom the travel mug and this is perfect timing.

Amazon also has the same prices now.

Sorry, Im gonna use this thread to b*tch about Best Buy's website. I could literally not order something I wanted off the site. It was in-stock, available to purchase, yet the 'place order button' did not function what-so-ever. Ended up talking to customer support and they had no solution. I literally couldn't give them my money. Something you think would be a pretty big problem for them.

Later...

Just now, while browsing watch bands, the whole page becomes unresponsive and you have to reload every minute. It is flabbergasting how a company this size, selling tech, is this bad at their own tech. I work in QA, and I would be fired so fast if this happened at my (microscopically smaller) company

A Yeti mug is better value. Less complications, no electronics, significantly lower cost, lasts forever.

The "14" oz mug the only way to go. My keriug brews 12 oz and it's nearly to the rim. That said, my wife and I use these daily and they're great. Battery isn't a Tesla - lasts about 90 minutes. Had a problem with one a whole back and customer service was great!
