Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Ok... I will call back. What is T-Force? And did you already have an internet line with them?
T-Force is basically their social media customer support team. Can be contacted via Facebook Messenger or Twitter DM. Prior to the merger, they were the top-tier customer reps, being able to address issues that even the normal phone reps would have trouble with and sometimes making some really good device offers.

They haven't been the same since the merger but it's still an leisurely way to solve issues rather than waiting to talk to someone on the phone.

I'm stuck in a dead zone, the price of peaceful country life. I did negotiate for 89Mbps bonded DSL with Clink recently. Flat $50/mo with free modem

As always.. SC 'grandfathered' plans get the shaft!
Simple Choice can get this promo as long as you have a voice line. Some customer service reps are confusing this promo with the Magenta Max promo. Tell them you want the $25 for Life Internet promo "2022 HINT P22".

For those asking whether this will work on a business plan: My parents (who are on the T-Mobile for Business Unlimited Select plan) first tried chatting with regular CS and then T-Force. Both told them that they would need to visit a physical location to redeem the offer since business plans have an "extra restriction" on the account. They just left the store with a modem/router in hand and said there were no problems at all!

Thank you very much for that info... but before I contact them you do understand that I currently have TMobile internet and pay $50/month for it on Simple Choice plan with 5 lines? At first the rep said they would not honor the $25/month on that plan. I protested and then he offered that I could get the discount if I added a phone line.

Unlimited Home Internet isn't available yet.

But we do offer Home Internet Lite plans starting at $50/mo. with AutoPay that might work for you.
LOL

I wonder if they will ever have no phone service required, and the ability to sign up online. Phone service required kills the deal for me.

They said it's only for new activations. I asked if I get a new one and cancel the old would I then get the price and TForce said it would cancel the promo. Will call back.

This was written from the link provided: "Unfortunately customers who already have T-Mobile Home Internet at any rate, or who have had and cancelled Home Internet in the last 30 days, are not eligible for this promotion."
Have any existing customers tried to finagle this offer, as I will try to contact them and create "drama," especially with the speed being really bad last couple days!

FYI: I run Speedtest periodically, lowest is 5.48Mbps (12/07/22) and fastest 605Mbps (09/17/22). But you can get an average of 100-150Mbps throughout the day. With this service, time of day does really dictates the speed. I have a t-mobile tower very close and the provided gateway always connect to it at 4-5 bars, so reception isn't the problem.
Another issue is with their T-Mobile app to connect to the gateway. Lately there is issue connecting to the gateway and won't open, stuck in "connecting" may be due to the crappy speed lately with this promo bringing more users!?!

I got the same message after signing up last night.$20/month and HINT P18 promo.Wondering if that deal was available all along I just never tried to add to cart.I signed up shortly after 12 EST,when people were still reporting as not available for them. The promo for the $100CG is HINT P10.Will see.
Us $20/month people should stick together, have a private message going so we can keep each other in the loop of what happens.

My Fios dropped off at least 2, 3 times a day and I don't mind to try something new even it's slower.

Anyone using this for failover with a Ubiquiti router? For $25 this might be worth it for redundancy. When my power goes out, my backup keeps everything alive for ~6 hours, but Spectrum usually lose power as well so internet goes out.

only the 'Lite' plan in my area - is it worth getting it using a friends address to lock in the rate?
