Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Don't even need gps. Connection to cell tower gives general location.

Is no data cap explicitly stated on their website?

Do you ever get slower speeds due to:
It does explicitly say, "No data cap", this is also confirmed by their reps.

I have experienced slow down.. slowest I've seen so far is about 200s down and 30s up. It will vary for everyone depending on signal strength and 5G availability, but what do you have to lose with the 14 day trial...

well let me tell you otherwise, I got an international (non-tmobile sold or supported) and it's working well; ZTE MU5001U -- you can google it, not a lot of people have that in the US I suppose since it's about $300-$400 sold out of Asia so it can be an expensive experiment. Except I took the experiment out of it since I have been using it for a while now, no issues. and great speed

edit: fixed model number
Can you use bridge mode with this ZTE?

I just went by the store and they are letting me try it out for two weeks free of charge since we just got four new iphone 14s. The problem is that we have a three camera outdoor security system, xbox, three computers, and four phones. Is this little box going to cover all these at the same speed? I'm currently with high speed Spectrum.

Yes... but I used GLinet router and change the TTL.. otherwise, it'll use the hotspot allowance ( 10GB ).
Is TTL from GLinet router? If so, Could you please provide the link for TTL changing?
Thank you

If you have the Arcadian KVd gateway modem maybe this might work:

Anyone know the difference between the MU5001 and the MU5002?

Looks like the MU5002 has an ethernet port as well? Wondering if it's the newer version and potentially better?
I did some more research for you since you're buying it based on my feedback so I'd feel bad if something didn't work right. My order from Aliexpress says both things; the model is listed as mu5001 but the description says mu5001U.

My actual model is MU5001. I just opened up the unit to look at the model number in the unit itself (had to remove the battery to look at the device details)

I reached out to the seller to clarify. This is what she said

MU5001 has lcd display and battery (this is what I have)
MU5001U has no lcd and no battery (marketed as Chinese model)

They both have Ethernet port.

She said she didn't sell MU5002 so doesn't have info on it. I could not find any specific difference myself. But I see lots of listings on AliExpress for both 5001 and 5002 so you should be able to compare them.

Sorry for providing the wrong info earlier, I was just looking at my online order vs what I physically had.

You should be good with the mu5001.

MU5001 Band spec:

Operating Frequency:
(5G): FDD 2100(n1)/700(n28) MHz
TDD 2500(n41)/3500(n78) MHz
(4G): LTE FDD: 2100(B1)/1800(B3)/900(B8)/700(B28) MHz
LTE TDD: 2500(B41)/3500(B42) MHz
(3G): WCDMA: 2100(B1)/700(B28) MHz

Incorrect. If you live in an area serviced by 5Guc and are reasonably close to a tower you'll be fine. I consistently get 700MB down and 150 or so up with TMO. I think making such generalized statements do not really give others good data to consider.

App shows just my new Internet line and is totally messed up. No discount shown.
Mobile website shows phone number line and seems about normal except nowhere is showing the discount except autopay.

Should I just wait until it arrives and is activated?

Did you get a text like this:

Congrats! You will receive your promotional discount from T-Mobile as long as you maintain eligibility.

If so, you're good.
