To all the home gym owners, big ups to staying disciplined. It gets difficult when you get older.
I used to load up lifts and my form would eventually go to hell...then I'd visit snap city. 6 or 7 days off to recover then back at it. That's what kills motivation imo. Sometimes 6 days off turns into 2 weeks off, etc etc.
Stay healthy, lift a little less, be consistent.
And to all those who want to deadlift, be careful. this is one exercise you don't want to F around on. Really easy to hurt yourself. I DL once a week with light weight but good form. I always preferred a barbell.

I'd be happy to take that off your hands. :p
If you just need a cheap trap bar and strapped for cash, this will likely be a fine starter. But it's this cheap for a reason.
Like you, mine arrived (and were both returned twice, for reasons including what you mentioned already) wrapped in plastic wrap and some (frayed) moving-blanket-like-material. But the big deal breaker was that the bar was legit not even symmetrical (like up to 2 inches wider on one side than the other). The welds sucked too. And the knurling was inconsistent at best - the first one I received was just barely knurled, kinda fading to none towards the edges. And then the 2nd one (replacement) had knurling that was essentially non-existent. And the symmetry was just as bad.
Returning was an even bigger pain, because Amazon requested that I literally wrap the entire thing in plastic wrap before sending it back. Luckily I was able to grab some body shop collision wrap from work (essentially self adhering, 5 foot high rolls of plastic wrap). Otherwise, I'd have needed to buy a Costco sized Saran wrap just to return them, lol.
And in case anyone is wondering, I'm 99% convinced the same manufacturer makes BalanceFrom and HulkFit. Because I ran into the same issues with both brands, same bad packaging, same non-symmetry, same crappy unfinished knurling, before paying a premium and settling on a Synergee trap bar. I kept the HulkFit as a secondary (paid $80 at the time), because I also recently started using trap bars in a very "unique" way... (I play Dance Dance Revolution, attempting to perfect combo "AAA" score, while holding a trap bar for the added challenge and exercise), so I can leave one by the DDR cabinet lol. Loading and unloading weights between rounds would get old fast.
Basically, I highly recommend that if you buy this, CHECK THAT THE OPENING IS ACTUALLY SYMMETRICAL, and that the knurling is at least half decent. At this price, it may not be a deal breaker and I wouldn't even necessarily discourage you from buying depending on your situations (fitness and financially), but I'd be curious if a bunch of people receive literally scratch and "DENTED" trap bars from this deal, haha. Just be aware that it isn't just "my barbell arrived scratched", but some legit manufacturing shortcoming concerns.

I went down to the basement to measure, and it's exactly 24.5" from center of each handle.
I also measured the asymmetry of the bar - if you were to imagine a rectangle in the center, measuring parallel to the handles, one side of the rectangle was 20.5" and the other was about 22.25". And this was the "least" warped-looking of the 3 trap bars I went through before keeping this one. This was back around Feb or March this year, so I suppose there's a chance it won't be as bad?
Again, a decent trap bar for $70 esp. if you just happen to need one and don't wanna spend much, but keep in mind that all 3 of the ones I went through all had issues with both symmetry and terrible inconsistent knurling. As long as you manage expectations, I wouldn't even call this a bad deal by any means!
