Good luck getting an installation done. All the stores near me are booked until mid January.
$190 for TT members.
I like it but my wife works in a large hospital and her car is parked in a parking garage. So most of the time the car doesnt start from the other building she is working at. So since this is unlimited range, i am thinking this might be better. I understand the subscription pricing but if we use it for 4/12 months it is cold here, i guess its worth it.

Ugh. I just got the IDATASTART HC 3.5 installed a few days ago. It was the same price $299.99.
Can I get this swapped? Would i be able to return the idatastart? Would there be a restocking fee?

Another question. One of my cars has the compustar 2 way remote start installed from bestbuy. Can I put the LTE module in? Is it something easy to do yourself if you already have the 2 way 4905 installed?

What don't you like about the IDATASTART? 6000ft range is pretty good.

This one you have to pay a monthly fee to use the drone app

All you need is the drone module. I believe all Compustar remote starters can be upgraded to Drone.

how much for drone monthly fee? used to be $6.99

DroneMobile service
Comes with a free 30-day trial. After the trial, plans require additional fee with no contract or annual commitment. Pause or cancel service at any time. There are no reactivation charges.

The DroneMobile service is only required for cellular connectivity and is not required in order to use the Compustar remote/key fob.

If you get the Drone module the cheapest service is around 180 for 5 years.

It shows $5.99/month if you go monthly. And if I get it for 4 months out of the the year thats $24/year. So not too bad. I get what you're saying though.
How easy is it to upgrade to the LTE module if you have the 2way remote starter? Is it something one can do there self or do you have to have bestbuy or a shop do it?

You will have to find out if it's compatible with IDATASTART. Call best buy and ask the Autotech

Sorry for the newbie question.

I have a 2008 Honda CRV LX, and it needs to insert a key to engine turn on.
Do I still need to insert the key to drive even if the engine started using this remote system?

You'll need to program the dc3 to see the lte module.
