Everyone comparing this phone (Note 20 ultra) to the "better deal" on newer Samsung s whatever is missing the point. This is the last real note. This phone has value to those that love the note line and more importantly expandable storage. Would have jumped on an s22 ultra long ago but no expandable storage unfortunately was a reason to pause. If you don't care about expandable storage then definitely move on. There are better options for you. For the rest of us, this is a viable option.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G is also 40% off and is at $549 for the same type of deal with Amazon.

But what did you trade in? It's semantics and to each their own, but if it's like the poster above you, then the effective price would be $859.

I'm not an expert on Samsung phones, just thought people would like a choice between the two with a direct link.

I was doing some phone shopping about 2 or 3 months ago and these same prices were not that impressive. It made me go for an s21 ultra for not much more.

Really want this phone for the sd slot but I guess 5G makes this phone obsolete?

A few days ago, I got this phone from ebay for only $319, and traded in for S22 ultra in best buy.

Only a good deal if you're just planning to use for a year and then return.

Not really a deal. I got a brand new unlocked S22 Ultra 256GB for effective $540 by doing a trade-in at Best Buy. It would have been $440 if I went for the 128GB.

$440/$540 was the effective price for 128/256GB S22U after taking into account the donor phone. Z Flip3 was getting $800 trade-in value and I bought one for $320 from ebay (including tax). S22U was $900/$1000 for 128/256GB. The TIV was $600 coupon/$200 gift card.

For 128GB: $900-$800+$24(tax on $300)+$320(donor phone)=$444.
For 256GB: $1000-$800+$32(tax on $400)+$320(donor phone)=$552.

So this came up in the last thread. Although it says returnable for up to one year, it also states returnable for 90 days for any reason. So looks like correct is 1 year warranty with 90 day return. Anyone have experience with this that can confirm?
