I am currently in the market for haptic headphones and I just bought this yesterday (Razer Nari Ultimate), after buying the newer haptic lineup Razer Kraken V3 Hypersense (the Kraken V3 Pro is just the wireless version of this). Both Nari Ultimate and V3 Hypersense use haptics by Lofelt which was just acquired by Meta. I also just ordered the Corsair HS60 Haptics when I learned it used Taction haptic technology, the inventor of which was heavily involved in the audiophile high-fidelity bass/subbass community where the prototype for the Taction Kannons was beta-tested.
I will receive my Corsair Haptics tomorrow and I'm super excited. I prefer the Nari Ultimate haptics at level 100 (0 to 100 fine adjustment) over the Razer Kraken V3 Hypersense at either HIGH or MED (only LOW, MID, HIGH coarse adjustment). I am assuming they're the same Lofelt transducer but the Ultimate 100 is somewhere between the Kraken MID and HIGH, where at HIGH the vibration drowns dialogs and at MID it's not as good as the Ultimate.

My suggestion is to just go ahead and try them as BestBuy returns are easy anyway. I got the wired Razer Kraken V3 Hypersense at $52.61 from Amazon Warehouse, Acceptable condition but received new (YMMV of course). The Corsair HS60 Haptics are also going for $51 (camo) and $58 (black) at the warehouse. Will post comparison as I receive today.
( BTW, for anyone claiming "X headphones have no bass" it is almost always an EQ problem. To prove this, use this bass test video we use at head-fi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7-os_eo91Y ) (I'll also test my JVC Kenwood SZ2000 and SZ1000 and compare the bass rumble to the haptics.)
Another edit re: importance of haptics in extreme bass volumes. The SZ2000 can do 30-200Hz at 125dB without distortion: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42PB9uq
I know the essential was the cheap version so somethings may be different, but I assume the microphone is the same. Be careful with this. You could do a lot better.
Edit: These DO NOT work with X-Box.

My experience till now:
I actually love the haptic feedback, i have set it on low intensity , and they still work great and make the experience immersive.
Sound is good, i had to tune the eq to my liking which made it great.
The rgb chroma is useless and turned it off, in hopes to save some battery
Battery life is not that great, setting haptic intensity to low helped last them longer
Mic is not that bad, i have not have anyone complain on my voice clarity.
The cushion is soft and fits well over my ears, but cant wear them for more than 1.5 hours however, i cant wear even the 1000xm4 more than 1.5 hours,
I loved playing god of war 4 on this on my ps4, surround sound helped me spot odins ravens really easily.
I havent used any other such usb wireless headphones but removing the usb dongle from the ps4 gets tricky- i have fat fingers which get sweaty after gaming session, and usb dongle is tiny
AND Corsair HS60 Haptic is haptics done right. NONE of the problems with vibrations going off in dialogs even at maximum haptics like in Nari Ultimate and Kraken V3 Hypersense. You still get the same intensity headshake in the right moments. I think the reason for this is that Taction technology cuts off at 160Hz while Hypersense states it cuts off at 200Hz (but it seems much higher? I might test that). My main problem with the Corsair is the max volume is too low, and there's no way to amp it unless I boost in EQ and introduce clipping. Also the Corsair microphone is leagues better than both Nari Ultimate and Kraken.
