I feel the same, bummer. 10+ years with 8 active lines, not a single free line. So salty that I"m looking into the verizon phone line now. F t-mobile
They probably have an Eeyore image as y'all's avatar in your customer profiles. It's an unofficial flag on your account that indicates that you are not to be given anything. Did y'all piss someone off recently?

Joking of course. My condolences that you can't partake in the official cellular carrier of SD!

Got shot down via 611 phone call. went to the phone app and got the offer by just typing "free line promotion". The rep knew what she was doing without me asking for anything else: sent me a link to put in my credit card info; sent me a txt for confirm and consent; asked for shipping address but I happen to have an unused sim; provided the sim and boom, I got a new line working.
I told i have a sim, but rep said they had to ship a new physical sim, no other option.

How do you get more than 1 free line?
It started on 2020. I have been adding whenever the promo offers. I have just 2 paid lines with 20% insider codes which I am paying $108 per month. Rests are free. All magenta max Smilie

I just got off the chat, I declined the free line as the chat agent was saying that the free line is only for 12 months and not beyond. See message: Let's get started. Upon checking here, yes you are eligible for the promotion. Do you want me to process it for you? This will allow you to have a free line for 12 months by just paying one time for the device connection charge. You can add 1 new line wherein you can get the service free for the next 12 months, paid after 12 months, and all we have to pay is one time Device Connection Charge (Processing fee) after that it's up to you if you would like to keep the service or not.

Is Verizon offering a better deal? I know the $25 home internet promos between Verizon and T-Mobile are matched.

I am on one of the simple choice family match plans. I added a line about a year ago and it added with the 10gb data that is specified for my plan, but after a few months it "upgraded" to the unlimited data that was on all of my other lines.
Yeah I do wonder if it would auto-upgrade with my Simple Choice plan if I waited longer. All the reps I spoke to said that the unlimited "upgrade" was a limited time grandfathered promo for certain Simple Choice like yours with 10gb. The way they put it is that they will not do that anymore for any new lines you add, so new lines will be what your base line has.

The rep interpreted the 12 month restriction incorrectly.
Per their documentation:
"12 month term requirement. Meaning customer cannot cancel lines within 12 months or credit will discontinue"

Took about an hour via the app chat and the rep had nooooo idea what I was talking about with the promo. They asked for a link or picture of the promo. The only way the rep got on board was when I sent OP's account screenshot with the promo showing as Enrolled (thanks OP!).
The weird thing is the rep said the new line and the promo may not show up in the account for 1-2 billing cycles, or at least until the SIM shows up in 7-10 days. I got the order confirmation email but there's nothing different in my account.

Currently on the One Plan with 7 lines (3 paid, 4 free). One of the free lines is active but unused since it was added last month when a friend joined the plan with the B1G1 promo.
Today's addition brings us to 8 lines. I guess there will be two unused lines sitting around waiting for a reason to be used.

Cost was $35 fee (+tax!) plus about an hour of chat.

So there's no way to figure out if you get this unless you contact T-Mo support?

I tired the link in the OP, and I just get taken to a "compare your plan to other plans" landing page.
