I'm on the Simple Choice Family Unlimited plan, been a customer for 8 years, with 4 lines. Called Customer Care and spoke to them, she said I wasn't eligible on that plan, have to move to Magenta. Guess I'm SOL, cause I'm not paying an extra $60 minimum for the exact same services I use today (not counting the free line I was hoping for).

Those who have Simple Choice. How many lines do you have? My understanding is that I am maxed out with six voice lines and one apple watch line. I recently added the home internet and wondering if I can get in on this deal. Looking at the service promo section in the T-Mobile app, this promo is not listed there. Waiting for chat to respond.

Never noticed…. I've had Simple Choice for 16 years now, and am paying $90 for 5 lines with unlimited 5g data. Hard to go wrong.
What SC plan did you get and how many are free? Currently paying 4 lines for 140. I would love to be in that price level đŸ¥²

Anyone know if once you get the sim you can use that to add a Apple Watch rather than an iPhone?
yes you can. When you call in and assume your account is eligible, you can use this free line by providing them the IMEI of the watch. However, the watch will have this free line number and not your main, the one you use daily, number. This promotion does NOT apply to DIGITS or wearable in a sense that the watch is a separate number and your phone is a separate different number. When someone call you, if you want them to call you on your watch, they have to call your watch number. If they call you on your main phone, the watch won't ring since it has its own number.

edit: I just got mine approved, FYI I have Simple Choice NA 10GB with them for 12 years and 3 months.

Is this line free forever or only for first 12 months with credits?
Some people said you have to pay for this line after 1st year.

This is great tactic to keep people locked into T-Mobile and keep people from jumping to other providers where these line would have to be paid if ported over.

In screenshot attached, it does have provision BYOD so it seems this line will never be eligible for trade in promos ever.
This is a good catch.

Magenta max 3 lines. I'm eligible.

I had my own phone and my own new sim card. I gave both simcard number and imei to the tforce agent.
My old LG velvet phone started working within 1 minute.

10 minutes later I get a text "Congrats, you will receive your promotional service discount from T-mobile as long as you maintain eligibility."

2022 BYOD Line P1 shows on in tmobile.com
