Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I just got off the chat with the rep using the T-mobile iOS app. Was able to get my free line. For those that are wondering, I have the Magenta for Business. I pay for 2 lines ($130) and now have 4 free lines + $25/mo internet service that I picked up a couple days ago (to try out) - the internet service has a $100 rebate promo right now too - so basically 4 months of service free.

When I tried to call in, the wait time was 45 mins. Chat was a lot quicker!

I added 2 lines to get Costco $600 Cash Card three months ago, and "2022 Line On Us P1 "was added automatically, making one line free. Is this the same promo code?
In screenshot attached, it does have provision BYOD so it seems this line will never be eligible for trade in promos ever.

You will see your bill drop due to a quirk on how TMo does their billing on 9-12 plans 8f you have Insider

Anyone know if once you get the sim you can use that to add a Apple Watch rather than an iPhone?
No, but their Apple Watch plan is only $5 anyway. Unless for some reason you'll use over 500MB

Went through the chat and confirmed that SC North America plan isn't eligible.
I am on grandfathered SC North America with 4 paid lines and 5 free lines.
I was told I was ineligible via phone.
I was told I was eligible via FB Chat. T-Force added the free line for me. I had to pay $35 though.
I guess it just depends if your account was targeted or not regardless of your plan.

10 years with them and have been paying $55 every month for 1 line in simple select plan. Unimited talk and text and 5GB of data. Everytime I call for a free line they keep talking about the granrdfathered plan I'm in and how I'm saving a ton of money. Any plan they offer to add a line to my existing one is $100+tax. T-mobile sucks big time. Not sure how you guys get so many lines paying less.
Switch to Verizon.

I'm chatting with them now.

Pretty much, $30 per line for unlimited data, text, talk, and hot spot.
$10 credit per line per month for 3 years ($360)
If you have Fios internet with them, then another $10 per month credit.

so for the next 3 years, you're looking at $10 per line, then $20 per line.

I"m doing it for my 8 line family accounts with t-mobile.

Yassss thanks for this guys!!! I got it through chat. Didn't even had to wait to get a person to talk to me. This will be my third free line!! 2020, 2021 and now 2022!! Love Tmobile
I tried to do this online. It refused and made me contact support chat.

T mob representative refused to give me this promotion saying I already have free lines from past promotions.

My plan qualifies and my paid lines are double the number of free lines.
Very disappointed!

I was told by chat rep that the offer is for 12 months only. After that you will be charged, unlike free line for life like in the past! So, basically you pay $35 for 12-months of usage which is not bad if you needed one.
yeah they told me the same thing. I'm not sure if this is just teh agent not understanding the terms of the deal or if this is correct. He said after 12 months I will be notified if the line is free or not.

Same plan but I have more paid lines than free.
Yet they declined to add a free line ☹️

I was eligible and just added it through the chat in my iOS T-Mobile app. I have 2 paid lines and 1 free line with Magenta Max, insider discount, home internet, and watch line, FWIW. So now it looks like I'll end up with 2 free lines overall Smilie

Took me 2 hrs of chatting with them to get it done. I'm with T-Mobile on business plan for a year + and they added it for me I only had to pay processing fee and that's it.

ok so you probably need to ask them to waive the $35 before placing the order, they can't waive it but can "credit" you back separately. I asked after the order and they said no, but then i keep the chat active to leave the rep hostage and was offer $15 instead and I took it.
