Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I also got the promo. I'm on the simple choice plan with 5 lines (6 now). Added the extra line for an old iPad I had laying around.

I signed up for home internet 2 days ago. I got the free line today. The rep at the store where I got the home internet 2 days ago said that I can try it out risk-free for 2 weeks and cancel if it doesn't work that well at my place. I'm contemplating getting rid of it since the connection is pretty weak. Does anyone know if this will screw up my free line I got today?

Darn it.
My 55+ one plan, 2 for $60 is once again not qualified for this promotion!!!
Really wish they could just give me one free line!!!!
Me too! I have the same plan and am never able to get a free line! I've tried many times too. Just chatted through the app and wasn't eligible.
Someone else on here with a 55+ plan said they were able to get it? Wonder how/why?

I am on Simple Choice with 10 voice lines already (10 voice lines are max). How can I take advantage of this promo? Should I add a new voice line for free? Will it be allowed to have 11 lines in simple choice where it allows only 10 voice lines at max? Can some one explain?

I ordered around same time as well, still waiting. I also checked my account service promos and nothing shows up. Maybe we have to activate sim first?

Ok so I got tired of waiting on twitter. They confirmed I was eligible but never responded after. So I went ahead and added it myself online. Activated the esim and waiting for the promo to post. At worst I cancel it if the promo doesn't post.
I did the same thing & got the text (about 30 minutes) after activation that I've received a promotion on my line, went & check on line & it shows up. Everything worked out fine so far.

Did the chat on the app. Just ask if they are offering any free lines. They offer it to me and even gave me a free SIM card. The line and promo did take about 3-4 hrs before it showed up on my acct. Now I just have to wait for the sim.

I ordered at 1:00 too but my sim is still not shipped out. No new line showing up in my account yet either. T-Mobile Fb messenger said it won't show up till after the sim ships.

1: ask TMobile for it
2: you have to answer that for yourself
3: probably not but you'll have to ask TMobile
4: yes but not any of us here

So if you are targeted, you should get an email or if you login, you should see an option to get a free line?

And if you didn't get both, then you are not targeted?
I was not targeted. I didn't get an email nor an indicator in my account. But I talked to a rep and told them the 2022 BYOD Line P1. It took a long time to find deal. Rep was unfamiliar with promo. But it worked. You will pay about $4.50 in extra monthly fee in addition to the $35 activation fee.

Promotions usually kick in when devices are shipped or you get a phone number assigned to your account

If you're on a tax excluded plan. Yes. It's an additional $4.50. That's what stopped me from adding 7 free lines in 2020. I wish I did tho.
