Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

I think the tell tale sign that my order didn't go through is this:

* Order email had someone else's name on it
* Store couldn't find the order
* My Account profile on tmobile iPad kiosk didn't show anything pending

think what happened with my order is probably a mix up by the agent, may be working/chatting with me and another client and somehow gave me form for the other customer's profile. This kind of hiccup are rare through the system (referential integrity and all).
Order status through customer care is actually through a separate system.

Yes. Same situation with wife being the account owner. I did it in-store versus online, but just showed my ID and they went ahead and added it.
Good to know. She's too lazy to go to the store and I really want the new line.

If the additional line is added make sure to connect and ask for "no install" and remove that line. Otherwise simply cancelling may impact your free line promo

What tmobile fails to mention is the nearly $15 in bogus made up fees, I have like 3 "free" lines I signed up for and my bill increased by almost $45, so free isn't technically free when it comes to tmobilebamd free lines

Wait a second... I thought you couldn't put tablet lines in phones... the system would recognize the IMEI and say "this is a phone, no soup for you"
I uses tablet sim in my s22 phone all the time. Data and text works. Just no voice calls

Kiosk may still be in store, but guessing no one is around. Could be a new company as I read that Costco was testing other options in some stores.

Where do you live to have taxes and fees of $15?
They're about $4 per line here in CA.

I do qualify for this extra free line but beyond the $35 act fee, is it actually free? I understand $0 monthly but is their any goofy taxes or fee's added? Or is it 100% completely free?

No one one exactly how accounts are chosen for this promo (not even the reps). So no one can really answer that question for you.
