Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Was told I'm eligible, but I can't seem to figure out how to add a line without being charged? I'm new at this free line thing. Can someone direct me to how to do this in account and make sure it's credited?
I just paid the one-time $35 fee, figured it was a small price to pay for a free line for life.

Is there anyone who has the T-Mobile One plan with One Plus promo (SIGNLE LINE) and was able to add this promotion? If so did you chat or go to a store?

That's how I should've done it. I logged into tmobile.com as suggested to see if it said if I qualify for this promo, and I couldn't find any info. I looked for a chat option but couldn't find it. So I used the T-Mo app because people posted wait times were short.

Our communication options with T-Mo are:
- Call 611 or 800 number
- Chat with T-Mo app on a phone
- Chat with TForce via Facebook or Twitter
- Chat via tmobile.com

What are the pros and cons of each method for a promo like this when you know T-Mo is really busy?
The last time I did this promo 2021 P1 it was over chat as well. I never really have had an issue.

I don't use TForce, never used chat on my app. Either I call or use the desktop chat.

As always, this type of promo all depends on how much a rep knows their job or the system to be able to get it applied. When I did the half line promo last year it took about 2 hours for the lady to figure it out. I was shocked today got done in less than 30 mins.

Got it added on my SC plan (4 lines). Those taxes and fees are adding up on these "free" lines though, not sure if there are ways around that?
same here. how much are you paying for your 4 lines SC?

SC plan with 2 paid and 2 free. Tried again this morning asking about following promos. 2022 Line On Us P1
2022 Holiday Unwrap w/DCC
2022 BYOD P1

Still no dice but agent did say that there is an up coming promo coming out on Christmas.

"I appreciate you for checking in to see if you qualify for the same offer! It appears that you do not qualify for that specific offer, But no worries we do have an upcoming promotions for you to take advantage specifically on Christmas offers and I can definitely update you will this be great?"

So will see when I get that sms what that promo is all about.

I think he's asking if you saw that option in the add a new line in the web browser account dashboard. I'm not finding the options to do this without getting assistance from a rep

Is data included or I will have to pay separately for it?
data is included.
Voice line means it is used for iphones/androids. Not for smartwatches and tablets.

I don't see an option through desktop account dashboard for live chat - It's saying to do it through the app, so I kicked that off

Ah....yea I couldn't find anywhere in my account when I logged in via the APP and website. I ended up just going to the store and completed in about 15 minutes.

It depends on the plan. If simple choice plans includes data, then your new phone line will include data. Perhaps simple choice is old and requires additional money for data.

The new plans in the past 5 years like Magenta and One all include data with no additional cost.

I have done this on 2 of my lines successfully.
Can you do this (remove a paid line) if it has a # you want to keep?

I asked this question, and they said yes. The store rep said I could change the number after setup or port in another number to replace the one they assigned to the free line.
Thank you.
