I'm on the "2 Lines One Plan All In Promo" with hookup discount. 2 paid lines and one watch line currently. Was told I wasn't eligible via app chat and t force on twitter. Based on comments here and Reddit I tried my luck and added a line via esim. So far no text about the free line and no promotion listed on the app. It's been about an hour now and I used the new line to make a call, send a text and do some web browsing. Fingers crossed but I have a feeling it won't work for me. I'll update if anything changes.

SO this is a great deal. here is what I got when I called.
I had 9 lines before I called and can have up to 12 lines based on my credit line.

Agent gave me 1 BYOD line free for my Magenta plan plus he gave me 1 free line has he checked there was a promotion for BOGO 1 line free so I got 2 free lines. $35 were charged for each of both lines but agent gave me credit of $70 to my account.

Now for 2nd free line, as it was not BYOD, I was able to purchase iPhone 12 which was priced at $630 - $250 for new line so for $380 divided over 24 months, not a bad deal at all.

Hope this helps someone!
can you share what ur plan details shows?

what does this page show for BOGO? https://my.t-mobile.com/account/plan-details

Final update: SIM arrived earlier today. I called 611 to confirm that this new line is indeed free; CSR confirmed that it is.

We then ported my number over from Xfinity Mobile.

TMO app shows three voice lines for a total of $60.

Thank you, TMO!

Same here, I took a gamble on a Magenta 55+ plan. So far the only text a received is :

It's great that you joined T-Mobile! Questions? There's a place where you can find instant must-have answers. Log in to My T-Mobile: t-mo.co/mytmo_login or download the T-Mobile app: t-mo.co/TmobileApp Your mobile number is xxxxxxxxxxx

Not even an email confirmation for the order it self!!!

The esim js active and I can make calls and text.
Also my bill went up by $35.
Not looking good for me too.

CSR assured me that the line is free. He also said that it can take up to 2 billing cycles to "show all the updates".

See what happens.

The plan seems irrelevant. There have been folks on all sorts of plans that seemed to have it work. I was told on a prior call it's eligible for all plans but it's not showing up on the accounts yet. (Post #381) but I wasn't eligible until it showed on my account. It took me until today to gather the guts to give it a try.
Doesn't work on military plans

I asked in app chat after about 30 minute wait if my account qualifies for promo code 2022 BYOD Line P1 and got these responses.

"I have good news for you in which you can add one free line on your account and for the new line you will not get billed for the monthly plan cost. You can add new device on your same new line or can add your eligible device on the same new line and this line is free till the services you have on the same line. You only need to keep all lines active for next one year to avail the same offer and this new line will not be eligible for upgrade till one year after the completion of one year you can upgrade device on the new line."

"There is a $35 one time activation charge. Which will add on your coming bill."

"It can only be add on chat or by telesales team over the call and it is a limited period offer and I would suggest you to add it soon."

So I agreed to adding a free line and they sent me a link to pay the $35 by credit card and will mail the sim. Been four hours no congratulations text yet and waiting on the discount to show on my account.

If you bothered to look a couple posts up, you'll see that I called 611.

And what's with calling out "Asia call center"?

In the past this has happened to me with the "line on us" deals and when the rep said it was coming.... it eventually showed up but it was a few nail biting weeks!

CSR words to take with grain of salt. There is still hope it may show up later. If not, oh well, I will cancel the line and move on (I am aware I will not be eligible for probables future promos for 90 days after cancellation, but I can live with that.

I don't understand people talking about having silver balls to do it. It s a risk reward thing. You risk $0 (or even $35 activation fee) for a lifetime free line. I will take it all day long

There you go! I'm sure it will go through.

If it doesn't show up? I'll cancel the line. Not worried at all.

Someone else asked (unanswered), but can I get the free line, then do a change of responsibility to port in one Tmobile number from another Tmobile account?
