Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

That is not correct. I have One Plus plan with 5 paid and 5 free lines. I was told I did not qualify but I added the line myself via the app and received the text confirmation of the promo within 15min and the promo is showing up under my account. I used esim. Try contacting TForce or adding the line yourself to see. I believe you have 14 days to cancel if the promo doesn't show up for you.
Thakn you. Can you please tell me how do I contact TForce?

Do I just tweet with my question and tag @TMobileHelp ?

thanks

I am surprise you guys still dont see it. His only concern was pushing the merger through by hook or crook. He lowered the rates for a bit to fool everyone and look how TM is behaving now. He disappeared after collecting his bonus and options.
They are businessman in the end right? They are there to make money. However he was more open to interact directly with customers and that is what I was kind of referring to.

When he joined as a CEO if my memory serves well Sprint was far from their sites as Softbank had adquired it. They were more buying things like Metro PCS and other small carriers.

AT&T was the one that made the first move trying to merge with T-mobile and that got shutdown by the Feds, and for that one AT&T was the one making the move for merger not T-mobile. Years later is when Softbank got in financial trouble an when T-mobile started making moves to merge. In other words I think you are right but initially when he became CEO merger was not on his sites, the big push I recall back then was to get as close as possible to AT&T customer base mainly due to pressures from the T-mobile Germany.

Anyways my point still is that it would have been nice if the current CEO had continued that engagement with the customers through social media.

Seems cool. Could I just use an older LG tablet I'd gotten from T-Mobile for this? They will then send me a sim? I'd probably wanna get a new iPad with 5g. Will I be able to switch to that once I get it? Correct me if I'm wrong, you can't get kickback on tablet lines, right?
I think you can use any tablet/ipad as long as it's compatible with the tmo network AND it's a cellular type tablet/ipad. I don't know what you mean by kickback?

Have you tried this? Has anyone tried this and worked? I asked a T-mobile rep before and was told that I will lose the promo. Thanks!
Reps are often wrong.
I have 4 free lines and I never used the number they assigned to me. I always ported in a number I got from Google Voice. No problems on the free line promo.

I added the line and the promo now shows up in my account along with a new number.

When I click in the line with the new number, I see a button to "Upgrade Device".

Can I upgrade my device Bu using some other promotion on this new line? Will that nullify my free new line?

Please let me know if it worked for you.
I'd love to use free line for data, so I'd save even more - total for 4 lines would be $86.40, so basically $6.40 for an extra line + free netflix

Thanks
Nope, I got rejected twice by T-Force trying to switch from FRLTUL2LP to FRLTULF2, I don't think I'm going to try anymore. I'm about 2 years too late to the party.

These are the two responses I got from T-Force today after a 2 hour wait and then a 12 hour wait

As for changing your plan, we can definitely help to get you moved to a plan that supports more than 3 lines! However for this, we would need to select from the current pool of plan options. I'd be happy to go over pricing on the Magenta plan if that is something that you'd be interested in going over together. Would we like to look at this plan?

I see we had the opportunity to cover this with you in our last conversation and I want to ensure we are 100% transparent. The rate plan you're asking for, and even the one you're currently on, are grandfathered which means we no longer have the ability to move customers to them and we would have to select from our current rate plan choices.

So the whole account is free? only playing about $5 tax per line, like $40 per month? Aren't you suppose to keep 2 paid lines?
No, it's $100 for the Simple Choice plan which includes 4 lines.

Simple Choice - $100 (includes 4 lines)

Line 1 - Free Simple Choice
Line 2 - Free Simple Choice
Line 3 - Free Simple Choice
Line 4 - Free Simple Choice
Line 5 - $10/month add a line
Line 6 - $10/month add a line
Line 7 - Free 2020 Line on Us promotion
Line 8 - Free 2022 BYOD Line P1 promotion

So it's $120 for the lines, plus taxes makes it around $160 total.

You have to keep two paid lines to keep all free lines.
Thank you! I suppose I should clarify as my original post was a little confusing.

Simple Choice - $100 for 4 lines

Line 1 - Simple Choice 1 of 4
Line 2 - Simple Choice 2 of 4
Line 3 - Simple Choice 3 of 4
Line 4 - Simple Choice 4 of 4
Line 5 - $10/month add a line
Line 6 - $10/month add a line
Line 7 - Free 2020 Line on Us promotion
Line 8 - Free 2022 BYOD Line P1 promotion

It's my understanding to maintain the 2022 BYOD Line P1 promotion no lines can be cancelled for 12 months. After 12 months I would port lines 5 and 6 out to another carrier for a month, then port them back in to replace the existing numbers on line 7 and 8 so it would look like

Line 1 - Simple Choice 1 of 4
Line 2 - Simple Choice 2 of 4
Line 3 - Simple Choice 3 of 4
Line 4 - Simple Choice 4 of 4
Line 7 - Free 2020 Line on Us promotion (Line 5 number ported into)
Line 8 - Free 2022 BYOD Line P1 promotion (Line 6 number ported into)

I have read every post and still have some questions, if someone could clarify a few things I would be grateful.
So, if I add a 2nd line to an iphone 14 via esim I can at some point order a physical sim from T-Mobile and convert the esim line to the new physical sim without screwing up the free line?

I just switched to T-Mobile 3 days ago 4 lines magenta max with insider. When we switched we were given a temporary number then that number was cancelled when we ported our old numbers. Those temporary numbers show as cancelled lines on my account. Would that make me ineligible for promos for 90 days?

Any other brand new T-Mobile accounts with ported numbers qualify?

The rep put the new line under the $15 6GB data plan. I had another chat with them, and it's now free unlimited 256kbps 🤦🏻 ♀️. I asked about the high speed data, he put me on a ticket for it. Is anyone on the same boat?

Edit: the line is now on 3GB 4G data plan, even though my account plan is Simple Choice 4GB. Apparently that's all they could do. Any insights?

Got it added to my T-Mobile one amplified plan.

Anyone have any idea if later I can reattach the free line promo to an existing line instead and drop the newly added one? I'm at 11 lines with this so it would be nice to start getting the others to be free

Yes, it showed $20 to add a line and I didn't add any promo code. It just asked for my credit card even though the cost was $0 since the fee is waived online. Once I added the line using iphone esim I got the line showing on my account along with the promo code showing up within 5 min on my account.
Is your plan $100 for 2 line Tmobile One?
