Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Wonder if I should just add another line with eSim, just to be safe, then cancel the one that doesn't get the promo? And cancel both if neither get it?
Thoughts from my SD family?
Took 39 hours from sim order to shipped email/promo applied and another 6 until the text message. So a long wait but it worked.

I ordered the physical sim about an hour ago. No text, and not showing up on my current promos.

Did I screw up and should I have ordered the esim? Or does it just take a little time?
Give it time. It took about half a day for mine to show up.

I think I will just assign it to esim for now. I'd like to try putting the physical sim in a tablet and see if data works sometime. Anyone know if that works ? What about kickback. ? Does kickback get applied to this free line ?

I read on Reddit that employees will be getting 1 existing customer insider code in Jan. If you know anyone who works for TMobile, you could ask them.
The supervisor I was speaking to said insider code can only be applied to magenta max. Is that true ? I'm on T-Mobile one plus promo account

Yes. I have it setup that way. There are 2 unique IMEI's. Just make sure you use the right ones.

Yes. I just added a second new line on my iPhone 14 Pro and haven't received a congrats message. Probably because I canceled 3 lines 3 weeks ago. Im on One Plan Promo.

The first rep on 611 said I was eligible but wouldn't waive the $35

The second rep on 611 said I was eligible, still wouldn't waive the $35 but also said I had to change my plan.

Both of them said I have to pay $35 or the promo wouldn't work. On the website it said $35 is waived so I just sent that route. I went through with it and didn't have to change my plan. I now have 6 lines that are included in the plan and 4 lines that are free.

If they showed you an account that has it and yours that doesn't have it, then it sounds risky. I wish I had more info for you. My gut says do it, worse case is you cancel it and can't do a promo until 90 days but that's about it.
Thanks for the info. I'm gonna wait till tomorrow and maybe pull the trigger then.

Really miss the days when John Legere was CEO, back then he was on Twitter and Instagram all the time and would answer questions in there. Remember during one of the free line promos he was doing a cookout live on Instagram and answering questions about the promo there.

Totally agree. That guy deserves ALL the credit for turning T-Mobile into a legit competitor to att and Verizon. So many of the wacky ideas and concepts came from him. He was awesome. They need to bring him back !

I am surprise you guys still dont see it. His only concern was pushing the merger through by hook or crook. He lowered the rates for a bit to fool everyone and look how TM is behaving now. He disappeared after collecting his bonus and options.

I have the same plan .. other then the first (line 3) free line this plan maxes at 3 lines... I've never been able to avail another free line promo.. I've read other have been able to convert to a similarly coded plan that allows 4 lines but could never get a rep who knew how to do it.. let us know if it works for ya ... GL
It doesn't look good for me, I've asked T-Force on Twitter 3x and only gotten 1 rejection reply on the most recent message (it seems they only answer early in the morning, then it gets lost). I tried asking chat but they would only convert me to Magenta which I don't want. The details with SOC codes

Quote from DeadDog :
Do you have 2 paid and 1 free already on this plan? I've never been able to add the third free line unless I missed a promo somewhere in the past.
It was this promotion [t-mobile.com] from 2017, I had to go in store to set it up. That was when I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile. All other free line offers never worked after that.

Quote from BeautifulMeal373 :
Did it prompt you saying that it would amount change in plan to Magenta and come to $140 per month?
I have the same plan and it showed that I lose kickback etc
The watch line doesn't count toward the 3 max, so DeadDog was able to add a line to the limit of 3. We who have 2 lines + 1 free already just get the prompt to switch plans (I have 2 tablet 2gb mobile internet lines that don't count toward the limit). I hope DeadDog gets the free line but it doesn't look promising that a text didn't arrive.

Still on TMO ONE All In Promo plan (FRLTUL2LP) which is never eligible for free lines?

This is a great (grandfathered) plan as it gives you 2 lines for $100 or $80 after 2GB data limit kickback on the 2 lines (or even less if you have the plan with T-Mobile employee hookup code). Plus with the additional promotion you get HD streaming, 10GB full speed hotspot and twice the international data speed (256kbs instead of 128kbs).

BUT... this account only supports 3 lines and unless you got the one free line they offered once under this plan you never got and will never get a free line with the plan.

But if the plan works out for you can move to another T-Mobile One plan (FRLTULF2) which cost a little bit more (2 lines for $120 or $100 after kickbacks) but you will be eligible for the free line and hopefully for additional free lines in the future (the plan supports up to 8 lines in total). The reps are also be able to move the kickback and ONE Plus promotion to the new plan. They might not do it immediately for the new free line but this is also possible and might need another try.
Plus the new plan includes $10.99 Netflix Standard HD account contribution which also needs to be factored in as a bonus.

If you want to get out of that hole and make the change here is my conversation regarding the plan change with T-Force on Twitter:
https://slickdeals.net/f/14713250-t-mobile-customers-add-a-line-for-free-starting-december-20th?p=144023981#post144023981

Then I called 611 at night and asked the overseas team to also add the promo add-ons to new free line so that all lines on the account have the ONE Plus promo (no kickback on the free line of course):
https://slickdeals.net/f/14713250-t-mobile-customers-add-a-line-for-free-starting-december-20th?p=144031265#post144031265

Summary of the process and overview of changes:
https://slickdeals.net/f/14713250-t-mobile-customers-add-a-line-for-free-starting-december-20th?p=144039584#post144039584

As I wrote it needs some time and the right reps to make it happen as I struggled with reps in the past to switch to a different T-Mobile One plan and not ending up with a Magenta plan and losing the kickback and One Plus promotion.
Wow I got a reply 12 hours after my last message but got shot down. I guess I am sticking with FRLTUL2LP since T-Force has been nerfed compared to 2 years ago. I'm glad I added the BOGO 2gb tablet data only lines a few years ago, I just tested and it works in phones too. I can use Xfinity Mobile for voice and these for data when my kids are old enough for phones.

These are the two responses I got from T-Force

As for changing your plan, we can definitely help to get you moved to a plan that supports more than 3 lines! However for this, we would need to select from the current pool of plan options. I'd be happy to go over pricing on the Magenta plan if that is something that you'd be interested in going over together. Would we like to look at this plan?

4. Changing to a Different Coding

I see we had the opportunity to cover this with you in our last conversation and I want to ensure we are 100% transparent. The rate plan you're asking for, and even the one you're currently on, are grandfathered which means we no longer have the ability to move customers to them and we would have to select from our current rate plan choices.

I am on TM One plan with 2 paid lines ($120 with auto pay) and 2 free lines from 2016 or 2017 and the overseas rep is telling me because I already have a free line on the plan, I am not eligible for this promotion.

Is that correct or they dont know what they are talking about? thanks

That is not correct. I have One Plus plan with 5 paid and 5 free lines. I was told I did not qualify but I added the line myself via the app and received the text confirmation of the promo within 15min and the promo is showing up under my account. I used esim. Try contacting TForce or adding the line yourself to see. I believe you have 14 days to cancel if the promo doesn't show up for you.
