Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Wow, this seems complicated. So where do you get all of those letters associated with a plan? I have One or One Plus as the One plan had some upgrades. So I pay for 4 lines for $120, got 2 free lines for a total of 6 lines. Netflix for under $10 - 4 users and HD and I still have the promo for 2 free 5G phones - the Samsung and the LG one. I have no idea what those letters for this plan would be. I did not see the promo on the web. I do not want to mess with it and lose the plan. Maybe because of the free phones I might not be eligible.
It sounds like you are able to add a line and get this free line. The ones of us having issues are on 2/100 and are capped at 3 lines. If we try to add a 4th line, it wants to change the plan from ONE to Magenta. If we could change to the 2/120 then we could add the line. Since you are on 4/120, you don't really need to worry about the plan. Just repeatedly chat until you find someone willing to add the free line for $35

For the SOC code, you can find instructions on reddit [reddit.com] for Chrome or Firefox. You use the browser's web developer feature to find the SOC code while you browse your account page.

2 Line $100 Tmobile one plan not qualified adding a free line every year.

I tried to take take advantage of current promotion 2022 BYOD Line P1. This year again I was told I am not qualified. Should I give up on this Tmobile ONE plan and switch to Magenta?
My plan is to add iPad (tablet line) first. Then my bill will be $120 for 3 lines. And I switch my plan to Magenta to see If I can take advantage of promotion 2022 BYOD line P1 adding 4th line for free.
Any suggestions? Please help
I'm in the same plan and can't as well. Note tablet lines don't count toward the 3 lines, I have 2/100 with the original 3rd line on us from 2017. I added 2 2GB tablet lines in 2020 on a BOGO deal. I'm not sure about the unlimited tablet data.

I think it depends on your situation. I have the insider hookup (20% discount to 80) + kickback ($10 off if a paid voice line stays below 2GB) which makes my bill $60 for 3 lines. If I switch to Magenta, I lose the 3rd free line, insider, and kickback, and my bill goes to $150. The buy 2 lines and get 1 free on the website is only for new customers apparently, that makes it 3/120. Also, Magenta is only 480p video and 5GB tethering while my plan with ONE Plus is HD and 10GB so it's a downgrade. Magenta Max would cost $170.

My plan now is to wait until my oldest child is older and needs a line, then port out to something like Google Fi. Then I could port into T-Mobile again with whatever promo they are offering at the time. This is after getting rejected by T-Force twice to switch from 2/100 to 2/120 so I can add more lines.

Same here, on a Magenta 55+ (not max) with two paid lines and no free line.I was told I am not qualified for this offer. I added the line by myself, it s 24h+ now, no text or discount. My bill went up by $35. I don't think any 55+ plan qualify, unless someone else report otherwise
There is the one report of success with MM 55+ in store, but basically that's it.

Can the line be data only? I'd put it on a spare phone for now and might eventually change over to a cellular capable ipad
On my LTE iPad uses one of my previous free line. It works no issue. Also no issue when I used it on of my spare phone.

Did they order you a sim card to be shipped?

They told me to put order in myself as normal ( sim was $0) and the promo will show up and apply to new account within 2 days

FYI, from all the info I'd gathered so far, These "Discounted Plans" (55+, First Responders, Any Military plans, etc.) will not qualify for the single 2022 BYOD Line P1, (doesn't hurt try ask/try right?) but try ur luck with a nice Rep. I think they ONLY qualify for a BOGO free line on their discounted plans. So T-Mobile punishes theses discount plans by only offering half of the "Holiday Unwrapped" promo to them only through a BOGO AAL; not for one free line outright, only if they add two.

Idk about you. I have one of my unused free line in my iPad pro with lte. It 100% works for a full semester I was using it for school. Although it wasn't 5G fast. But as 4G I was able to stream YouTube on high quality at the very least. Free line is free so why not even if it isn't 5G?

I'm on like a 15yr old account on the One plan. I knew I wasn't eligible but I did a Facebook chat asking about the promo and the rep said because of my loyalty she will add a free line lol

I just got off the chat with the rep using the T-mobile iOS app. Was able to get my free line. For those that are wondering, I have the Magenta for Business. I pay for 2 lines ($130) and now have 4 free lines + $25/mo internet service that I picked up a couple days ago (to try out) - the internet service has a $100 rebate promo right now too - so basically 4 months of service free.

When I tried to call in, the wait time was 45 mins. Chat was a lot quicker!

Can confirm my business magenta account was eligible. Had to contact business customer care. No mandatory 30 dollar fee either. I didn't ask for a waiver either. Ymmv on that fee though.
I have Magenta for Business as well. So I will have to call in. Do you just mention that you want to add the free line promotion with promo code 2022 BYOD Line P1? Anything else needs to be mentioned? I already have 9 lines on the acct. Hope they don't mess anything up. Thanks

I tried to call and activate a line on my account. The rep told me she no longer see this promotion and that it must have expired yesterday. Has anyone else tried this morning?

No matter how many times I tried, I got the same answer, this offer is not available on my account. I have One plan with One Plus promo and a free 3rd line. I tried all channels there are.
