Does this works if I am grandfathered from sprint ?

edit:

"the offer will require the customer be on a Magenta biller (not Sprint) and have 2 or more (paid) lines. For reference, "Magenta Biller"

No go for Tmobile ONE 9-12 lines (for me)

Still check with a few agents if you have time to spare. My exact plan might not be the reason why I'm not eligible.

UPDATE: T-Mobile App Chat said I was eligible and added a line for me. The BYOD promotion shows up on the Plan Details and Service Promos pages. Two other promotions of mine no longer show up but Tforce confirmed they are still active.

Seems most people who are told are not eligible, are able to add the line and see the promotion. We shall see if they stick.

Ineligible twice via chat and call. Attempted to add line via eSIM based on others having success hoping promo would show up. Haven't activated phone on the line because it's broken. Do I need to activate for promo to show up?

Added line last light and just got a text today saying thanks for adding line. Promo still hasn't shown up and doubt it will. Will wait and see if promo shows up but probably need to cancel.

Still mostly a failure calling 611 about my Simple Choice FUTTVN. Had a 3GB add on for previous two lines that got upgraded a couple years ago to unlimited for $10 each line.

TMo auto added a 6GB add on for the free line for $15 and Twitter said that was my only option for data, insisting that my base plan included no data which was wrong. After 2 hours I gave up.

611 at least recognized my 2GB of data in the base plan, but offered no solution to match the unlimited data on the other lines. Options were to keep the $15 6GB or eliminate the add on and drop to 2GB which is what I ended up doing. Not sure how others had success getting better data on grandfathered SC plans. Kind of annoying. And on top of it, data packages don't pro-rate, so the first month of $15 will get charged, but agent set a reminder for herself to issue a $15 credit since I haven't used ANY data yet (SIM is still in the envelope)

I added a line yesterday, 12/18, at 7:00 am. I made mistake of requesting a physical SIM instead of using an eSIM but I was not in hurry.

My problem is as of now, my order is still processing or "running" as it shows in status. Line has not been added yet. My concern is that if it does not get added today, and the promo actually ends today, I may not get the free line.

Has anyone tried cancelling the order for adding a line? I am thinking of trying to cancel the order and place a new one tonight using an eSIM. That may be asking for trouble though!!
My new line showed up on my account today around noon. I placed the order online on my own on 12/18 at 7:00 am so it took more than 48 hours. However, the 18th was a Sunday so it was expected to take a little longer.

SIM card has not shipped yet so I am hoping that promo gets added when it ships. I am on a One plan. This is my 8th line with 4 paid and 4 free.

Hoping that the SIM card ships today and promo gets applied without too much trouble. I was told I was eligible by 3 T-Mobile agents but they kept saying that I am at limit of my plan and kept pushing me to switch to Magenta. That did not make sense as my SOC should allow up to 8 lines and I was at 7 at that point.

Edit: Order actually shipped an hour ago but I did not receive a text yet confirming promo and it does not show up yet on my account.

Has anyone tried putting the free SIM into a 5G tablet and determined if it works?

I popped the physical SIM into my mini Ipad 5g (newest version) and the speed is crippled to .5mbs. My normal mangeta tablet plan on ESIM is well over 200mbs. So they are doing it on purpose. Its a huge bummer.

If someone can help me figure this out, I will appreciate that

TMobile one plan with 2 paid lines and 2 free lines from 2016, added a physical SIM line with a rep on 12/18 night, would not let me finish the order myself on the site because of their stupid verification/security thing.

Nothing shipped on 19th, it shipped on 20th 3AM and new number/line showed up in the account. So far it shows the cost as $25 ($20 with auto pay)

- I have read the thread but not sure whats the deal for physical SIM orders. Does anyone know how long it typically takes for the promotion to show up for the physical orders?

- I am comparing the add ons on hte new line vs the existing lines and I see 2 differences.
One Plus Promo which gives 10GB of high speed hotspot
Kickback
I know kickback is useless on the free line
But does anyone know what is the default hotspot on the OnePlan. I think it is still 10GB but may be slow speed? Can someone confirm that please, and is there any way to get them to add OnePlus promo on the mew line as well?

thank you

I see that's good to know. It's throttled.. but if the sim/esim was dedicated for the iPad it has the full network capability.

Crippled just waiting for you to activate it? Some signal to at least do that?

No, the SIM gets full speed in my Iphone 12 PRO max. Its crippled on ipad 5G. When you have ESIM and Physical SIM in the ipad or any device, you can pick which one to use in same spot, same signal. Its really crippled by design.

Well there is a new buy one line get one free line promo, based on the promo ID name it sounds it will be active for the remainder of the year. Promo "2023 Line P1". No official terms yet.

From reddit:

Quote :
Effective today the Buy a Line Get a line is back under 2023 Line P1. Previous Free line promos including the one that ended recently does not disqualify you from this promo. Account needs to be active before December 18th to Qualify.

Retail can waive DCC on BYOD lines btw.

Please check with T-force or a Mobile expert to make sure you qualify.

Edit for clarification: Can be combined as in they can exist on the same account.

NEW PROMO REQUIRES ADDING ONE PAID VOICE LINE. Second line will be free.

SEGMENTED does NOT qualify. That includes 55, military and first responders.

Which channel did you use to get ONE Plus Promo add-on added? Twitter/Facebook or iMessage chat or app chat?
Were you able to get it done through twitter as well?

I tried calling 611 and they said they cant add it.
