Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank MellowStew6247

My personal experience with Best Buy items that are Open Box Excellent with Free Shipping is that they are typically refused or otherwise undeliverable returned items that have never actually been opened. I would be more inclined to refer to them as having distressed packaging.

Let me reemphasize that I am only referring to those open box items that have free shipping. I am not referring to items picked up in store.

Is this a good deal? I saw a 32" go on sale for $50 recently and I feel like echo dots are worth $15 tops. Would love some insight on tv specs/price

I already placed my order for pickup at my local Best Buy so I don't care how long it lasts. Just asking the slickdeals community how this deal stacks up to others to help me determine if I should cancel the order. Is that so wrong?

First of all, it's a 24" TV for $60, not a 75" QLED. I spent more than that on a tank of gasoline yesterday. If I was too lazy, stupid, or self centered to look up the specs of two completely disposable TV's myself and make a simple value judgement, I would, quite frankly, be ashamed to admit it.

There is currently a Vizio 24" smart tv for $58, which is cheaper than this deal. Is it so bad to ask for other peoples opinions to make the savviest purchase? I guess we all don't have money trees like you. I have 2 big screen tv's and I don't need to compare this to that at all

First of all you know nothing about me, except maybe that I have a low tolerance for nonsense. But this is how these threads turn into 10 pages of diarrhea. It ends up being 27 different side discussions (started by "very special" people) that most people wouldn't give 2 sh*ts about. A normal person interested in these deals can't gain any useful intel by reading these threads without investing a ridiculous amount of time. IMO
That's fine if that's you're opinion but you aren't allowed to determine what's normal because you feel a certain way. There are still other people out there who have varying opinions from you and that will never change.

My recent and only experience with an "Open Box Excellent" home theater system was not the case. When the customer service guy opened the box during the return process, he had the look of someone that opened a body bag. It was so bad that he even tried to give me a new system for that price (which the system eventually wouldn't let him because of the price gap)

I said "WITH FREE SHIPPING". Not picking up in store. Store pickup is a completely different scenario.

If they shipped you a HT and it wasn't packed right I can understand how it would easily get trashed in transit. They don't have a lot of physics majors working in those warehouses.
