Ehhhh....I suppose this is decent if your build needs a card that is truly 2-slots. $320 for a 6700 seems too high considering the 6750xt is now popping up for $360 after rebates on Newegg. Spend a bit more cash and get at least a 6700xt with 12GB VRAM and a beefier cooler.

The Sapphire version of the RX6700 is $329 and I noticed it has a single 8-pin connector while the XFX has two. Not sure why though.

I have one. It undervolts well. Runs at 130W gaming. Very quiet. Feels great in the hands, it's well built.

As much as I'd like a more powerful card, this has some advantages, price and power wise.

I don't think this card is worth buying over lets say a 6650 XT which should be cheaper.

Just bought the Asus 6700xt that's backordered for $360.

Not sure if I'm going to keep it or downgrade to something like this or 6650 xt if it shows up for less than $275.

I'm sold my 970, and have a 12400f so I don't have any video.

Edit. I see now 6650s are less than $275

I don't think you should be using a decade old game fully customized by Nvidia that only runs well on the 4080 on up as a useful critique on AMD. It even makes the 3090 look bad.
Name a Nvidia card in this price range that can even compete with these AMD cards. Back to this post, I'd spend the extra coin to get the full 6700XT or just go down to the 6650XT if you can't wait/afford it as this card is closer to the 6650XT than the 6700XT in performance.

It doesn't, it runs at 60fps at 1080p on a 2060, and unplayable on amd. The list of titles as they make these retrofit mods easier is just going to grow and grow as its much easier to do real time lighting than try to bake it in so a lesser gpu can try to pass for the real thing.

6700 = 2070 super. Not a good budget card. Better to spend extra $40 for the 6700xt. Imo $360 for 6700xt is also high

I guess if you're into that sort of retro gaming or obsessed over RT (honestly, RT really needs 3070 and up to shine and this is not the right price range for this).

My 4090 can't get 60 fps at 4K without DLSS3 on Portal RTX, so to get 60fps on a 2060 means you're running on low settings and maxing out on DLSS performance and not quality.
