[added] worked when starting new account.
Can anyone confirm if my checkmarks / days remaining counters will reset if I put in a physical SIM card from another carrier while still maintaining the active Google Fi eSIM? I just want to use a physical SIM card for data, fine with using the Google Fi eSIM for calls and texts.
Thanks.
I activated with eSIM 12/23 transferring a google voice number (on same google account as Fi). Checkmarks and counters were correct the next day. After giving it a few days to make sure all seemed good, yesterday I decided to add my primary carrier physical SIM to the phone. Just simply popped it out of old phone and placed in new Pixel. I made the physical SIM primary for everything and used it all day yesterday as my daily use phone. All seems fine, count down is still working.
Tracking shows UPS 2nd day air, but it is coming through ground transport.

I had the same problem with my Pixel 7 - activated via eSIM, system didn't think the phone was activated, two devices showing up in my account, etc.
It took two chat sessions before my issue was escalated to a specialist in the promo department. Someone finally looked into it and sent me a "one time exception" of some sort, and it's finally sorted.
