I have the T2 on my 65inch OLED. The camera is not very accurate at picking the right colors. Is there Black, Yellow, or brown showing on the screen? Get ready for RED leds. Even so, it's still fun and immersive and I can only hope updates wills allow it to become better. I also wish there was an option for the software to truly allowed the camera to be placed on the TV stand rather than ontop of the TV.
My opinion on the T1 would be DON'T get it. Save the money and buy the T2 if you want a much better experience. Also I wish the 65in version of the led strip was a bit longer. They grouped the 55-65in to be the same LED strip so theres a small gap in the corner. I tried buying the 75-85in version to account for this but it was WAYYY too long, had to return it.
The T2 is the one I recommend for price and convenience. The fact that it works while using the TV's integrated apps and YouTube or just while using it's own OS makes it a more constant fun experience.
Everything has it's Pros/Cons. It's up to you what you want to sacrifice.

The camera points at the TV screen so the lights can match the colors/images on the TV.
I wondered that too. I believe it looks at the screen and can change the colors on the back of the TV to match what's going on and create a more immersive experience than just having lights on one color.

Yepp, I still recommend it over the other active TV led strips. The T1 is cheaper but less accurate and less sections for lights. The Hue Play set up can cost upto $520 and while it's the absolute best at matching colors, it's still very expensive and less convenient because the video needs to pass through their HDMI Sync Box and it doesn't have HDMI 2.1 pass through. So it's a nono for gamers or people running a PC display at or over 120hz.
