I bought this stuff last time. I will eat nearly anything, except grape nuts and liver. I tried this stuff one time, and immediately put it in the very back corner of the cupboard. I'm too cheap to throw it away, but I have not touched it a second time.

Bummer, I wonder how they screwed up a black bean burger. They are usually pretty easy. Must have spices that don't work. Frown

it's like they just took a bunch of beans, dried them out, and ground them up. i had to use mass quantities of salt to just choke down one patty.

Got this last time. I was not expecting much, but found it surprisingly edible.

Wow. Well, I was thinking they would possibly be a good ingredient for burgers. I rarely follow recipes and add a bunch of things to my cooking. Adding some vegan cheese to the mix and maybe even some beyond meat ground round. It could be fun.

I never had liver before this year. I had it in both the Ollie's dog food I ate and Pet Fresh slice and serve dog food rolls I ate. Chicken livers and chicken hearts was the first ingredients in both of them. And I didn't have just one taste or even one whole meal of them. I ate 8 tubs of Ollie enought for 16 full dog meals and 6 full slice and serve rolls which is equivalent to 12 full dog meals. So 28 full dog meals total. Why did I do this? Because I got them sent to me for free doing home testing surveys and don't have a dog and did not want to waste food because I'm ultra cheap. I boiled the dog food first in water and ate it as a stew-like soup. Saving money on 28 meals plus next level manhood achieved was the outcome.

I've never heard of black bean burger mix, but it sounds convenient and versatile. I wonder if it would make good (faux) meatballs.
