Getting another as my previous served well for the last 4 years.
Sam's has butane in bulk for less as well.

Seriously, can you point to me where I can get 6 cans butane for ~$6? Suppose you meant 8oz cans
Thanks picking up the Target version for $29

I have a hard time believing buying butane cylinders for this slickdeal stove will be less costly than my old Coleman. Leastways the gallon of white gas was relatively cheap I recall, and has stored ok for years. And I wonder about finding the correct fitting butane cylinders in a pinch?
Thank you.
Ha. I never paid attention to butane cans at Asian grocery stores. Guess I'll check it out next time though I really doubt it can be so cheap. Other places are at ~$3 per 8oz can

For those geek out on which one of these cartridge stoves are "better", I think it was Cooks Illustrated or the like that found that the burner's flame outlet design (the holes where the flames are under the pot) greatly affected heating evenness and heat output.
So, yes. Cheap and does a decent job, but there's better.
Disagree. It works
I agree šÆ. I have both these models and I prefer this butane because it is easy to carry around and easy to clean.

Yes, I have, not this specific one but similar one stove type butane powered heating elements. Works wonderfully. Make sure to get a good quality heating plate though, preferably one of those round ones with grooves on the edges to trap the liquid dripping down.
