Despite the silly name, this is actually a pretty good game. Worth playing through 3 times for different endings. Fun battle system and good progression, with some great character designs if you like the 2D skit style. Solid JRPG.

Also, alt. version Tiara is hilarious.

Some good games similar to this if you like this style are Dark Rose Valkyrie and Megadimension Neptunia VII if you like Compile Heart/Idea Factory games. I personally did not care for Dragon Star Varnir, it was just lame and extra odd. Poor character design and I found it a chore to finish.

Shining Resonance Refrain is also worth a look.

Am I going crazy or was there an entirely separate thread for this yesterday? Seems like SD staff just reposted their own instead of that one, which had a ton more discussion about the actual game.

Hadn't looked into this game until now.. Historically, the ps4 version was at its lowest only in April 2020 for 3.99, then twice has it hit 5.99 - Feb and April of 2022. It has not been on sale in the ps store since this april/may sale. Normal price is 19.99. I hope this is helpful to anyone on the fence, between comments here and reviews online, I'm going to save it to my wish list to keep an eye for better sales. If I didn't have such a backlog I'd probably have snagged it here at 7.99. And yes, this is basically a ps3 remaster with a bit of added content.

If you have a PC, keep an eye on eneba [eneba.com]. I don't remember for certain, but I know I only paid a few bucks for it.

(but there is a difference in versions, so be sure you know what you are getting)

Great game. Got to beat it 3 times to unlock everything. you can grind to get the extra levels. Put 200 hours in it. Worth $6.

From what I can see, this is the same thread (just that now, it made it to the Frontpage section). The title of the thread as shown in your screenshot is how I'd originally written it but then later edited (before it was Fromtpaged ~7 hours ago). Here's an image showing that title along with my username and the December 22nd date you recalled correctly, for reference.
