I think I know why some people are not getting it. Paypal/Honey essentially shadow ban accounts from earning rewards. I was shadow banned from honey rewards for reaching out on a Sasmung offer I saw for a Tab S8 ($100 offer) and they essentially ghosted me and now I can't earn any rewards. It happens to a ton of people (check their twitter replies). They also pretend to look into the issue if you contact them then block you on social media. They are pretty shady tbh.

The rep is no help. They just gave a BS response. I purchased on 12/23. People made purchase after me got the $5 applied automatically.

thank you for contacting PayPal message support. My name is Carol, and I'll be happy to assist you today.

I understand you are inquiring about a $5 incentive for making a $10 purchase of Starbucks reload. I've reviewed your account, and unfortunately, that offer is no longer available. The offer ended after the first 50,000 awards were issued.

The terms and conditions state, "Only 50,000 Reward redemptions are available during the Offer Period; Rewards will no longer be awarded after December 31, 2022 or once the redemption limit is reached, whichever is sooner."

Again, I'm sorry you missed out. Please keep a look out again; we are always offering similar incentives.

I appreciate your understanding in this matter. Thank you for reaching out. You may close the conversation by selecting.
Same. i got this same BS excuse. Never gonna purchase any deal from them again.

It doesn't even allow me to save or even see the deal when I'm directed over to PayPal.

Do you get the deal based on when you "claimed" it from the link, or when the purchase is? I save it right when it was posted but am only about to make the purchase now...

I file a dispute with Paypal on Dec 23. Explained that I save the offer and did not get 500 point and I want a refund. Paypal got back with me today through email "Case closed in your favor" and refund me $10

Still waiting on points ..

Same. Honestly think PayPal's point system is a scam. I am still waiting for 8% back in points for a GameStop purchase from earlier this year.

Purchased a week ago. Today 12/29 still shows no points.

Still no points. Chat support say way 90 days and hopefully they won't all be claimed. I don't understand what was wrong with the old way of having the coupon applied in real time. Won't be wasting another purchase to PayPal points.

Was told 90 days by chat as well. Yeah right.. 👎
Got the same wait 90 days answer from PayPal chat support. I was able to get the points by emailing [email protected] and [email protected] with the offer information and the PayPal transaction details.

Interestingly enough, their own support articles say "We are currently unable to look into transactions not listed in your Account Overview that are over 90 days after the purchase date." You'd actually need to contact PayPal during or after the 2-14 business days. https://help.joinhoney.com/articl...al-rewards

Odd. In my case, PayPal support eventually told me to contact PayPal Honey and PayPal Rewards support at those emails.
