Our local Sams Club ($25 to join) has an AT&T booth. Get five AT&T mobile lines (unlimited talk, text, and potential 5G data) for $101. You also get a free Iphone 14, Samsung S22, or Samsung Flip (pay local tax on MSRP) with qualifying trade in. Contract is locked for two years.

Current AT&T customers need to port out their old numbers (for 45 days) to Tello (or equivalent), then port back to AT&T if they want to keep their phone numbers.

I don't know if one can unlock these AT&T phones before the end of the two years contract.

I don't trust those sales. I was told I can get $30 unlimited talk/text/data + free Iphone 14 for each line. I did not take the offer becasue sounds too good to be true. I went home and call AT&T to verify if such offer exists but told no. Good that I did not switch and don't want a big surprise when I got my phone bill.

Always read the contract before you sign up for a promotion. People lie and cheat to sell you stuffs.

Why don't you provide copy of the contract terms for this deal. Seems way too good to be true, it surpasses any available discounted plans.

For the trade in, is it one per account or up to all 5 lines? And will be anxious to see what the trade in values turn out to be. A lot of good possibilities here.

Since it will be post-paid, no doubt there will be those enormous taxes and fees. I will have some good questions to ask at the kiosk next week!

Oh, yeah, what about the ability to keep that rate? I had a grandfathered plan on Cricket (owned by AT&T as most of you know) honored for several years, but this past summer they ended that with no apologies.

That is very unfortunate. Unfortunately, I believe all carriers are starting to modify old plans and increase fees.
OP's plan looks interesting buy absolutely agree, we need to add around $40 in extra fees and charges.
Please let us know what you find out.

The problem is if you ever see a phone contract they all state full retail/non discounted price. I have never seen a contract with the discounts already factored in.

They may advertise that, but when ATT process it, it will be under whatever ongoing rate they have…
Then you gotta hope whatever discount they are advertising is real and exists.

There may be a catch just like how car dealers advertise cars with like $7000 discounts.

But when you actually look at the fine print, they have stacked discounts on that very few will actually qualify for.

So while they may advertise 5 lines for $101. You may not qualify but hey they got you to talk to them!

You'll pay about $90 in tax for the S22. Contract is for two years, with an option to renew. You'll get five new phones. The type of phone depends on the phone that you turn in. Need to read the fine print before you sign.

A friend with an existing AT&T account was able to lock in on this deal yesterday. Need to wait for the next billing cycle to confirm pricing.
