I had this mouse and had the double click issue after about 8 months, I warrantied it, and they sent a replacement and started after 3 months. So now i'm using logitech even though the rest of my build is corsair lighting.
logitech has same issue, just unluck.

I've had this mouse for a couple years. I got the scroll wheel issue after a year or so. I just took it apart and cleaned the wheel area with a q-tip and alcohol. Issue went away. Still working to this day.

I get about a year out of these before the middle click stops working for me, but I like the shape and layout of them enough to stick with them. At this price though even if I only get even a year out of it that is well worth it.

Are you me? My story is exactly the same. 8 months in double click issue. Then replacement had the same issue within a few months. Warrantied that one and it's still in the box because I switched to the G502. Full Corsair build and now a Logitech mouse but the 502 is awesome. I loved the m65 too but if it doesn't hold up or work it's worthless.

To be fair, both brands are susceptible to the issue. I would even say Logitech more so with their legacy mice. I wish more brands would do what Asus has done, swappable switches. Too bad their mice aren't really all the interesting outside of this.

I used the m65 back when. I enjoyed it a lot and I think I was pretty good. I've chased the fad to lighter mice but part of me still longs for that red crossfire button. If they update it to a lighter option then I would be right back.

I know allot of long haul gamers. Many of them use corsair "gaming" mice. I have heard about the double click issue a ton on this model and others after only 6 months - a year. That being said these people are pushing at least 25+ hours a week in FPS gaming. I had this mouse a few times over the years, I did really like it (larger hands) but I can't stand corsair software personally.

Still a good deal though.

Double click issue sometimes would turn into a mag dump for me when I clicked I closed icue and it would fix that problem, but I used the side buttons for mount and melee and those don't work with icue closed lol

Never had a double click issue. Not once in 10 years of owning corsair mice. Never had any issue what so ever either. They are amazing and this is a flawless deal. Grab 2?

Had mine since 2018 or 19, works as well as the day I bought it. I never installed their software, just plugged it and it's fine. I have longer hands and it works. I really like like side button for fine detail work. Great mouse.

It's only 97 grams? Is that heavy, I'm asking honestly? I like a heavy mouse myself. I have all the weights in it.

It is not so bad, no. It is, at this point, just more than I am used to. My Viper Ultimate is a bit less and I grabbed the $15 Pulsifire (sp?) that went on sale yesterday. I do think the lessened weight feels nice, but I also think something is loss in how every mouse for shooters these days is mostly the same shape and just with the two side buttons and a dpi button on the spine (still the dumbest spot for a button, and I will die on that hill).

I wouldn't worry about it if you don't feel odd about it. I used to top the servers on a dying game with it. I played in ways that people don't advise as well. I have DPI over 800 and used the side button to toggle down to 400 or so when sniping. People on forums/reddit will argue you should always be on 400-800 and use wide swooping arm movements. I think you play how it works and if you are unhappy, then maybe try adjusting. What made me in the top tier back in the day was I knew the behind-the-bullet numbers. I could calculate how much life someone had left by knowing what guns had hit them recently. Then came positioning, I knew the maps better than I know my own hometown. Third and last was my aim. Like, it is pretty hard to mess up a mouse these days. So yeah, use what ya like.

This has been my TED talk.
