Drunktaining
is the art of entertaining or being entertained while drunk. For example a drunk person may post when no one is around, and they have to drunktain themselves. That is sad and frustrating Crying

So, what exactly is a gayberry?

Quote from wiles :

It's a term or any kind of berry or fruit that a person would use to make a fruit smoothie to drink, instead of drinking beer, tequila, or vodka.
Some people even speak Gayberrolian.

Saw Adventureland a few weeks ago. pretty decent flick, though much of the movie was a clich Stick Out Tongue
Yeah, the happy ending was a bit much, as were some other story elements, but overall I thought it did a good job of avoiding a lot of clich. They did a good job of giving characters believable lives and the 80's setting worked well.

Hehehe, I guess since I grew up in the 80's I might have seen it a bit different. Smilie

Think about it though. "nerdy" introverted boy. Rebellious "cool" girl. "Hottie" that everyone wants to date. "Crazy" neighbor or whatever that guy was. Alcoholic dad. Lawyer dad. Trophy wife / mean step mother. Oh, and don't forget the "stud" handyman.

The whole damned cast and situations were clich Smilie

I guess what I'm trying to say is that the setting and some of the story elements weren't entirely original, but the way they handled it was. Ultimately you can typecast the characters like that in any movie at this point, it's more a matter of what the writers do with them.

Gotcha. Did manage to hold my attention as opposed to just hitting the stop button as I have done many times before.

Anyone else following the "moral question about coupons" thread? OP is both unethical and eager to accuse others. Should do well in the Podium.

DNC has been absent it seems...Hmmm....He didn't go camping with bears did he? Unsure

DWells you should study tonight. The snooze button feels so good in the morning! Good luck! hug

BTW- I like Adventureland. It did a fresh take on a beaten horse movie plot. And I liked the music in the movie too...Girly

I bought a pint of Ben & Jerry's cookie dough ice cream earlier and when I was done eating some of it I put the spoon in the freezer with the ice cream so I didn't have to wash extra spoons. Well, I just took it out and decided to lick the ice cream stuck to the spoon and got my tongue stuck in the process and tore some of the skin off. Wow, I'm an idiot.

Oh...To hell with you Demo...You are being such an ass!....There! Does that help? Or did you mean you wanted to argue in a productive, point proving way, with debatable topics? Teehee

Can't study right now. My brain is already in off mode. I seem ot get my best work done in the morning this semester.

I enjoyed it, like you said, it felt like a fresh take. As for the music, well, there was a Judas Priest reference as well as one of their songs, so they get credit for that.

I know hug

Read the first part and glanced at the second then I hit reply.

Did the Frown and then read the quoted text and "saw" the latter part which is why I put Smilie

As to Llama, not quite sure what he is at this point. Smilie
