I stopped buying the brand name lead acid batteries, they're all made by 3 major companies in the USA. Autozone/O'Riley's want more than double for the same battery size/CCA Walmart sells - it makes no sense.

If your car requires an AGM battery, get one. If not, it's probably not worth the price difference. Odds are that whatever battery you choose will be made by Clarios (formerly Johnson Controls), Exide, or East Penn. You'll be lucky to get more than 3 or 4 years out of any of them.
Sitting at any level of charge lower than 100% will shorten a lead-acid battery's life. If you make lots of short trips, your car's alternator might not have time to charge your battery to 100%, and it might spend prolonged periods well below 100%. If that's the case, using a smart charger at least once a week to top the battery off at 100% charge can prolong its life.
If you have one of the aforementioned battery testers, test your battery regularly. The tester will give you the battery's state of health as a percentage based on its CCA rating and measured internal resistance. Once the state of health falls below about 80%, the battery will fail the test. This is when it's time to replace the battery to avoid being stranded with a dead battery. You may or may not notice slower cranking at 80% health, but you will soon, probably on a cold day. If the battery is no longer under warranty, I'll usually roll the dice, being the cheapskate I am, and keep using it until I notice significant degradation in performance—but I also carry a jump starter in my trunk. If the battery is under warranty, take it back to the store where you bought it and have them test it. There's a good chance it will fail their test too and they'll replace it under warranty with no argument.
Your 10 year warranty drivetrain battery is only for the electric motor/s that move the car.
If your 12 volt lead acid battery dies, your car's computer won't boot up and your car won't move until it gets a jump or have sufficient charge to power up the brains of the EV.

compare the warrantly, cca, ca and returns to auto parts store, this battery was cheaper and much more than those auto parts batterys that cost $120
So after all that, do you all really get such short battery life, or are they trying to get me to waste money prematurely? In no other area of life have I ever been known to have what seems to be supernatural luck.
