I have my credit frozen through all credit bureaus and applied last month and got approved. No hard or soft pull on reloadable

You can use the code online first and then use it in store. To be safe, try doing both purchases within the same day.

It's not worth it if they pull your credit, there's so many other cards that will give you better incentives. If they pull your credit then mind as well get more with a credit card right?!

BF has never had an account or a credit or debit card with Target and he got denied for a reloadable card. He has excellent credit so I wonder what criteria you need to have to get a reloadable card?

When I applied during BF, coupon and the card came to together via snail mail. Took couple of weeks for me.

Equifax themselves have had a couple data breaches, so if someone wants to gain access to data they will eventually get in. Still a good idea to freeze all credit bureaus unless you are applying for new credit.

Beware: if you are enticed by the "coupon" it's almost worthless. Expires quickly and has an exclusion list longer than bestbuy coupons. I have yet to be able to use mine after getting it over a month ago. It doesn't apply to any purchases I have made so far.

Buy storage bins with the coupon. I did instore and online. The coupon worked both times.
