but is it worth it to get a phone with only one more year security patch?
Other than the original box having a few scuffs and corner dents, the contents seem perfectly new. I would not be able to distinguish this phone from a new one. It's currently slowly doing all the (8x) firmware updates from May 2022 until now but seems to be solid all around.
This is the first renewed phone I've bought for myself... and as long as no issues arise, I'd do it again based on this experience so far.

S20 FE 5G first impressions after evening of use. Very nice battery life coming from my aging S9 with 3000 mAh battery to FE's 4500 mAh. I prefer compact phones and the FE is a little of a stretch, but not as bad as I feared. Glad to have microSD so that all my media transferred over instantly.
I extremely miss the fingerprint reader on the back of the phone... it would reliably, instantly unlock with an extremely natural hand position... it also let me pull down notifications at all times. I also really miss having a notification LED.
