A 12 foot step ladder is $250-$300 and you aren't supposed to stand on the top. Two of these is $280 and you get a full-size work platform.

This is exactly what I do for storing them. They sit in the garage with heavy equipment on top so I can park heavier equipment under them.

i've had nothing but farking trouble with home depot this year, they're so awful and will never ship things even after you've paid for them
had to bug paypal to process a refund that home depot said would be 'automatic' after 30 days of an item being backordered
