This hurts; I bought it a few months ago for $70.

It's much nicer than I thought it'd be. It's a proper 45lbs, unlike some other budget bars. The ends are a little smaller than the standard ~2 inches, but it doesn't hinder my lifts. The paint on the ends is wearing, but it's not rusting, despite being in a moist garage.

I'd buy it again at $70, but at $50 I'm considering getting a second!

EDIT: I realize now that this is a different version than what I got - I purchased the 1000 pound version. This is apparently a new version that looks the same, but is only rated for 500lbs. Not sure if my comments above apply then...

$70 for 1000 pound capacity is a deal for sure, 500 pound is more for beginner deal.
