No extra year warranty from Costco for tablets. It says so on their Concierge page. If you used a Costco VISA you should get the extra 2 years, but the normal extra year does not apply to "touchscreen tablets".
i just read somebody confirmed it either on this thread of the walmart one. instead of 4 years (double of 2 standard yrs), he said we would get the 3rd year instead.

If you use the Costco VISA, you get 4 years warranty, so why waste money on AppleCare+?
EDIT: It seems the 2nd free year is not applicable to touchscreen tablets (is there a non-touchscreen tablet?). So 3 years instead of 4.

What "standard 2 years" are you speaking of?
just read your own thread again. i thought it came from someone else. i thought the 3 years you mentioned is included 2 standard (costco) years from costco + 1 year extra for using the costco visa. does it mean we are getting 2 extra years compared to other retailers with only 1 year in general?
Price match at Staples for 110% price match. I bought mine at Staples last week and was able to bring it back for return and rebuy. Total without tax 245.09

of course i did try to convince them. but again, they pasted the same pre-written script about their promos.
but no regret though. their 5% extra in savings isn't worth it compared to the extra year of warranty at costco.
Try these drives: https://a.co/d/hnvYmt7
They're very fast and very small drives.

My advice is great if you get a USB-C iPad.
