In summary, it's been a shaky start.
One crank arm came w defective threads so the pedal will not attach securely. Google suggests this is a common quality control problem.
When we have tried rides, the bike tends to drop Bluetooth connection to the tablet every 10-15', which drops your resistance to zero and stops measuring cadence. It's been a very inconsistent experience and we are seriously debating returning this and searching for used pelotons in our area. We are beginning to think it's worth the premium.
I'm interested in others' echelon testimonial.
Turns out, after riding them regularly, they've far exceeded our expectations. Great performance, great design (all things considered), great price.

If I push myself to rank high on the leaderboard I always get a great workout.
I've had the old Sport (no screen) for 2 years, this thing is solid. Actually I bought another EX-1 Limited recently but still prefer the old Sport.
