This is the one that went on sale pre-covid on black Friday for $22-$24. I purchased one and I felt like an idiot spending $2 the following year for a second one. They are useful and fold up nicely but can sometimes pinch your finger when closing the legs for storage. I believe they went on sale for around $34 this past year

This gorilla one that they sold previously for $34 is a step up from the $20-22 ones IMO. The platform is solid, longer and wider a little and has hole in the middle for carrying or placing 2x4 that could be useful as well ( in my case used it couple of times to hold up T that was used to support one side of sheetrock while I was installing it on the ceiling by myself). The locking mechanism is improved as well since this one uses pin while older ones used small latches and I didn't like that top had different height slots of aluminum which made much harder to clean that one flat solid one.

Yeah, I bought the Werner version same situation, can't believe how much inflation has hit these things that it is front page at this price now.

I was amazed by how much I used that little platform for finishing a 1000 sq/ft basement, both drywall and painting. Worth every penny for a project like that. I also can't believe how many times I stepped off of it thinking it was wider and almost broke something. Mine is the older style and I think I'm going to buy this one to replace it. $42 with free next day shipping seems like a deal to me.

I got this pre covid for cheaper. But it's been useful enough for projects around the house that I feel ok recommending it to people, even at this price.
